Yes I think he should return full time as there is a spot for a DS now that DS Debbie McAllister has left a few months ago and the news that DI Neil Manson is leaving the show it will hopefully mean that DS Sam Nixon will get her proper shot at being a DI.

Andrew Lancel has confirmed that he is to take a month's break for his honeymoon.. however, he is due to return after the break and the rumours about him leaving full time are, as they state, RUMOURS.

Andrew is not due to leave for his month's break until around summer time.. so it won't be this plot which sees him disappear for a while.
