in the sunday mirror tv guide it says in tonights episode they maria and kirk get some financial info from their parents???

I'm prepared to give anything a chance. I don't mind little things like this. It's the way they try to turn comedy stuff into storylines i.e. the boxing. If it's 1 scene that's funny and OTT then I don't mind.

I don't mind if a soap does comedy, it should do comedy sometimes. I just mind when they try to get a storyline going with it.

think its because kirk and marias parents want to leave the kennels to them as they are moving away so they want them to carry on the family biz but maria doesnt want to as shes a hairdresser etc and wants to sell it where as its kirks job etc so fizz thinks maria is being selfish... blah blah

yeah but not ever five seconds, the drama should have a higher majority than comedy and in corrie it seems for ever 1 bit of drama there is 5 bits of comedy
