Neighbours has revealed that Terese Willis will soon be welcoming a new family member to Ramsay Street, as her niece is set to show up on her doorstep at the end of the month.

Roxy Willis will be played by 21-year-old actress Zima Anderson, and will be first seen on screen on April 29 in Australia.

According to the soap, Roxy is always on the look-out for a fun time, but she also has a nose for trouble – which means viewers can expect plenty of chaos from Roxy almost immediately when her aunt Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) reluctantly agrees to take Roxy under her wing.

"I've been so lucky with the role of Roxy, I've already found myself in a wide range of crazy situations from virtually the first scene which has been so much fun and really challenged me, I'm constantly learning," Zima said in a statement.

Speaking about her first day on set, Zima described it as her "best experience to date" as she explained that her character quickly got up to some mischief.

"I was nervous but more excited and my first scene I had to jump up on the bar and pour tequila in my belly button which explains itself!" she said.

"Everyone on set was so welcoming and nice and it was just better than I ever imagined."

Zima also added that she has received great advice from "pretty much everyone" on set, and revealed that she is getting guidance from her co-stars too.

"Literally everyone at Neighbours, not only cast, are happy, helpful and just so great," she said, naming Stefan Dennis, Rebekah Elmaloglou, Jackie Woodburne and Ryan Moloney as some of the cast members who've given her some "solid advice and mentoring".

"Colette is always honest and helpful, Bec and Scott [McGregor] actually have given me some great tips with the scripts and being aware," she explained.

"Stefan also gave me a great tip to never be afraid to look silly, I’ll take that one to the grave."

The only light at the end of the tunnel comes when super-rich Pierce Greyson (Tim Robards) buys the shares himself, feeling that he owes Terese a favour.

Roxy continues to lose allies when Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) and David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) return home to find that she has made a mess of their house.

The couple insist that their newest temporary tenant has to go, but when Kyle Canning points out that he might be leaving Erinsborough soon, they reluctantly decide to give Roxy a chance if she cleans up her act. Can she manage it?

Roxy (Zima Anderson) does end up calling the police on Vance, and next week's scenes will follow the fallout of her recent decisions.

Roxy attempts to keep a low profile, including rejecting Terese's (Rebekah Elmaloglou) offer to move back into Number 22. But Harlow calls Roxy out on her immature behaviour after learning that Roxy has yet to apologise to Gary.

Gary doesn't accept Roxy's apology, and Terese decides to call Gemma (Beth Buchanan).

Gemma manages to convince Roxy that she's not a bad person, and this inspires Roxy to apologise again to Gary – this time showing genuine remorse. This second apology goes down better.

Roxy then accepts Terese's offer and moves back into Number 22, but it's not long before there's friction between Roxy and Harlow.

Beth Buchanan previously reprised her role as Gemma in April as part of Roxy's introduction. Before that, she played the character in 1990 and 1991.

Neighbours' Roxy Willis will struggle to rebuild her relationships with her family after her secret is exposed, Zima Anderson has revealed.

Roxy is weighed down by guilt over the fact that she could have been the one to save David Tanaka's life, as she was a possible kidney donor match. The truth eventually comes out when David looks over his medical records and confronts her.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Zima hinted that the aftermath will be very difficult for Roxy to navigate, with the Robinsons and particularly Paul reacting poorly towards her.

"Some people are not happy, which is obviously expected," she said. "Her family is not happy and Paul is very angry... [For Paul] it's a crazy thing knowing that Roxy had David's life in her hands, basically.

"David is a little bit more easy. I think it's because he has the knowledge of being a doctor himself and he's an understanding person. He's a little less angry and a bit less upset, and more stepping into Roxy's shoes."

Zima added that it will "definitely take some time" for some people to forgive Roxy, explaining that Roxy has broken their trust.

"This one is a tough one," she said. "It's not only denying that you're a possible donor for someone in the family that everyone, but it's also the dishonesty and [the fact that] she's lied about it and kept it a secret for quite a while that will break the trust in the people that she loves most.

"Harlow, Roxy loves her with all of her heart. She is basically a sister to her, and it'll definitely take some time after that to heal."

Roxy ends up drinking with Kyle Canning – who is also drowning his sorrows after Amy Williams' departure.

Kyle then makes an advance on Roxy, but she rejects him as he presumptuously leans in for a kiss. Roxy is further upset when Kyle implies that he thought she would be up for it.

"Kyle and Roxy are similar characters," Zima said. "They are very boisterous and fun and easygoing. Rox loves a beer, Kyle loves a beer.

"They have a great time together. So she gets quite upset over [Kyle's advances] and it's not necessarily Kyle. I think it's all of the different times that this sort of thing has happened with her – the way she's been projected and treated by different men in her life that she feels a little devalued and that they only see her for one thing.

"That's such a hard thing to have to deal with as a young woman by itself, to have to cope with, so it doesn't really go down very well for the friendship which is unfortunate.

"In the end, she knows she was a little bit hard on him, but that storyline was really fun to play with."

Roxy ends up confiding in Shane Rebecchi about what happened with Kyle. Shane is in a less forgiving mood, and intends to confront Kyle.

Elsewhere, Zima said that she hopes Roxy will be able to find love in 2020.

"I would love to see her fall in love and have someone utterly love her [as well]," she explained. "That would be great! But I feel that she has so much growth to do as a person, and as a young woman, she wants to learn how she likes to be treated and how to treat other people.

"Fingers crossed. She's got a lot of love to give, that's for sure."

Neighbours' Roxy Willis is to be knocked unconscious in a shock attack in upcoming scenes.

The Ramsay Street resident has been having a tough time recently in the wake of the death cap mushrooms incident during the 'Best Dish of Erinsborough' competition.

Roxy (Zima Anderson) inadvertently used death cap mushrooms in the gravy for Kyle Canning's (Chris Milligan) entry, which led to the accidental poisoning of judge Jacinta and Bea Nilsson.

With Roxy and Kyle's relationship already on the rocks in the aftermath, things between the couple look set to sour further as Kyle tells Roxy he will be rehashing The Tram rather than going into business with her, leaving Roxy feeling useless.

In scenes to air next week in Australia and in about a month's time in the UK, it seems like Roxy's run of bad luck will continue, as she is knocked out cold by a mysterious assailant.

TV Week reports that following Kyle's rejection and with her reputation in tatters, Roxy sets out to do something positive.

Deciding she will look into the recent vandalism at the university, Roxy's plans are brutally upended when she is knocked out by a masked stranger.

Does someone have it in for Roxy? And will she be OK?

ews of Roxy's violent attack follows the announcement that Neighbours actress Bonnie Anderson will soon exit her role as Bea Nilsson.

"Neighbours really changed my life for the better in so, so many ways. I feel like at the age I was, 23, when I joined the show it has really shaped me into the person that I am today," Bonnie said in a statement.

"I have overcome a lot, I have grown and I am proud of the way I live my life. It was really good to have that structure and now after 3? years on that show I have decided it is time for me to continue challenging myself and create space to focus on my music and songwriting and more acting."

Bea's final scenes are expected to air in mid-2021, with no plot details given.

Neighbours has confirmed the return of Roxy Willis' mother Gemma Ramsay in 2022.

Zima Anderson, who plays Roxy, teased her on-screen mum's reappearance in a promotional video on the Ramsay Street soap's official Twitter account, and it coincides with her character's wedding storyline.

"Some of Roxy's family members stop by," she said, followed by a clip that shows Gemma, played by Beth Buchanan, warning Roxy not to marry Kyle.

"You're going to regret it," Gemma says.

Meanwhile, Roxy hinted at "heartbreak" and "very hard times" for Roxy in early 2022, while also hinting that her character's friendship with Harlow "may never be the same".

Further clips give a glimpse at a confrontation between Roxy and Harlow, as Roxy tells her friend: "Maybe you shouldn't come to the wedding."

Beth previously starred on the soap in 1990 and 1991, before making appearances in 2019 during Roxy's first year on Ramsay Street.

Roxy's wedding to Kyle may not go to plan, as the 2022 trailer shows "gale force winds" putting lives in danger. Jacinta Stapleton, who plays Amy Greenwood, previously suggested that "tragedy" will strike at the wedding.

Elsewhere, Georgie Stone shared that Mackenzie's relationships with Harlow Robinson and Hendrix Greyson will be explored next month.

Although David encourages her to keep trying, Harlow is convinced that neither Roxy or Mackenzie want her to be involved in the wedding. Could this prompt more worrying behaviour from Harlow?

With Roxy and Mackenzie both concerned that Harlow could be starting to take after her killer father, Robert, who she has been visiting in jail, there could be even more trouble in store for their friendship.

Roxy and Kyle's wedding day is also set to be hit by a dangerous storm, with the soap teasing: "While Kyle and Roxy's wedding preparations are in full swing for their big day, a violent storm bringing gale-force winds threatens to bring the celebrations to a tragic halt. Which of our residents will fall victim when disaster strikes at the celebrations?"

The character, who is played by Zima Anderson, appeared as a regular on the soap between 2019 and 2022, before returning as a guest for its final Channel 5 episodes.

The show has now confirmed that she will be returning to Erinsborough alongside Shane Ramsay (Peter O'Brien), who himself recently appeared for his son Max's entrance storyline.

Announcing the news, Neighbours wrote on social media: "Ramsay's Return! Ahead of the show's 40th anniversary, Shane will soon be heading back to Erinsborough for a much needed check in on son, Max.

"You get so comfortable. Neighbours is the best school you could ever go to for acting. You never get an experience like that anywhere."

"I learned so much, I laughed so much and I'd grown so much as a human, so I felt that I needed to challenge myself in another direction. I felt like it worked out as perfect timing," she added.

"It was so hard to leave a place like that, because Neighbours is so incredible and fantastic. I love Roxy and she'll always be with me, but it was a choice to go and learn somewhere else, because I'd learned so much already."

Once Roxy arrives, she notices that something is troubling Max and he welcomes the opportunity to confide in her.

Sadly, we know that getting close to Max may not be the smartest move for anyone in Erinsborough at the moment.
