Mel C has revealed that she will never reunite with the Spice Girls, because she suffered from depression during her time with the band.
"I would never get back together with the Spice Girls," the singer told the Sunday Mirror. "I am getting tired and frustrated at all these stories about the Spice Girls getting back together. And I have not been in the studio working on songs.
"Obviously, I did suffer with depression for a couple of years. I'm quite a fighter but when depression hits it is really, really difficult. You do feel despair and I know a lot of people do contemplate ending it all. But luckily I never really got to that point."
A Spice Girls greatest hits album could be released in 2006, however Melanie has revealed that the only "new" efforts would be unreleased songs recorded in the 90s, such as C.U. Next Tuesday and Feel The Love.
"C.U. Next Tuesday was never used because it's a pile of *******," Mel explained. "I think it would be a big rip-off if Virgin put them on a greatest hits album now."
