Neighbours has introduced Finn Kelly's half-brother Shaun Watkins to the show.

Brad Moller has landed the guest role of Shaun, who made his first appearance in Thursday's episode (December 27) after getting in touch with Susan Kennedy.

Shaun is the younger sibling of Finn and made contact with Susan (Jackie Woodburne) in the hope of proving that her nemesis wasn't always an evil supervillain.

When Susan met up with Shaun at The Waterhole, he told the story of how he and Finn were both kidnapped and held captive during a trip backpacking in South America when they were younger.

Although the boys' mother and Shaun's father paid ransom money for Shaun's release, they blamed Finn for the predicament and refused to bail him out.

A traumatised Finn was held for six months and nobody knows what torments he may have endured during that time.

Although Shaun insisted that he didn't want to make excuses for Finn's bad behaviour, he hoped that the details of his backstory would help Susan to better understand his evil actions.

So far there's no proof that Shaun is actually telling the truth, as there are no records of such an incident in the media.

Shaun insisted that the details were hushed up at the time, but when Bea Nilsson was filled in on the latest developments, she remained highly sceptical and suspected that it was all a lie.

We know from Neighbours' recently-released 2019 trailer that we'll be seeing Shaun again, but can he really be trusted or is he just as freaky as Finn? Only time will tell.

I’d love to see the KELLY brothers stay in Ramsay Street. It will be interesting to see how it all unfolds when ELLY’s baby secret is out!! I hope writers keep Shaun as a good guy. Every new character has been evil, we need something new and refreshing.

Neighbours' Shaun Watkins could face shocking allegations as Mark Brennan seeks revenge
Did he commit arson?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a27593065/neighbours-spoilers-shaun-watkins-shocking-allegations-mark-brennan/

Neighbours hints at a darker side to Shaun Watkins next week as Mark Brennan becomes determined to investigate him.

Just as Shaun (Brad Moller) starts to spend more time with Elly Conway, a suspicious Mark investigates the possibility that he's hiding a huge secret.

Upcoming episodes see parents-to-be Shaun and Elly (Jodi Anasta) start warming to each other after a difficult few weeks. Elly even invites Shaun to join her at their baby's 12-week scan, despite previously begging him not to be involved.

When Mark (Scott McGregor) sees Elly spending time with Shaun he can't help feeling hurt, even though he has made the decision to cut all ties with his estranged wife.

Taking action, Mark decides to investigate the possibility that Shaun was connected to the mysterious fire that conveniently destroyed the police's evidence against Finn Kelly.

Mark's mood seems vengeful as he becomes fixated on the idea, much to the concern of his brother Aaron.

Aaron feels that Mark is becoming too invested in the case and gives him some tough love, reminding him that he has previously been kicked off the police force for letting his personal feelings influence his work.

Mark knows that Aaron is right, but will it be enough to convince him to drop his suspicions over Shaun?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, June 6 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours hints Shaun Watkins is plotting against Elly Conway as he returns
What's he up to?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a29057865/neighbours-spoilers-shaun-watkins-elly-conway-plan/

Neighbours hints at trouble to come from Shaun Watkins next week, as he appears to be hiding a secret when he returns to Erinsborough.

Brad Moller has filmed more episodes in the role of Shaun, who is the father of Elly Conway's baby.

Shaun comes to Ramsay Street on the invitation of his brother Finn (Rob Mills), who is growing frustrated over the current situation with Elly's unborn child.

Finn fears that Shaun is being cut out of the baby's life already, with Elly (Jodi Anasta) leaning on Bea, the Kennedys, David and Aaron for support instead.

Bea isn't pleased to see Shaun and accuses Finn of crossing the line by calling on his brother for moral support.

Shaun overhears their row and weighs in, admitting that Elly – who's still away from Erinsborough – already knows about his visit and is fine with it.

Surprisingly, Shaun reveals that his main reason for coming was to pull Finn back in line, knowing that he has spent the past few days overstepping the mark.

Finn takes his brother's words to heart and admits that he went overboard with some of his recent behaviour.

Shaun even orders Finn to apologise to Aaron and David for a recent argument over Elly and the baby.

However, just when it seems that peacemaker Shaun is a great influence on everyone, David spots a tell-tale sign that everything isn't as it seems.

Watching Shaun from afar, David overhears him having an ambiguous but slightly menacing conversation about Elly.

Shaun also acts shadily when David approaches him, deliberately covering documents in front of him.

David reports back to Aaron, who insists that his husband should keep quiet until he has some proper evidence. Is Shaun up to no good?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Wednesday, September 25, Thursday, September 26 and Friday, September 27 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours reveals more on Finn and Elly's shock death storyline
Both characters are left in mourning next week.

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a29528021/neighbours-spoilers-finn-kelly-elly-conway-shaun-watkins-death/

Neighbours has confirmed that Shaun Watkins will be officially declared dead next week.

Finn Kelly and Elly Conway will both be left devastated when they learn that authorities have lost hope for Shaun (Brad Moller) after he was caught up in an avalanche abroad.

As we revealed recently, disaster strikes for Shaun while he's away on a trip to Switzerland.

Shaun's loved ones initially hear that he's missing and they should await further updates. However, next week sees the story continue, with Finn (Rob Mills) taking a call to confirm that Shaun is officially considered dead

The tragedy brings Susan Kennedy back to Ramsay Street from London, wanting to support Elly as she processes the news about the father of her unborn baby.

Although Elly initially seems stoic, she soon disappears and fails to answer any calls.

When Finn gets an idea from David Tanaka and Aaron Brennan over where Elly might be, he races to find her – worried that she's in the last place she needs to be.

Later in the week, Bea starts to feel increasingly useless as Finn and Elly both rely on each other for support rather than her.

Bea persists with a well-meaning attempt to distract her grieving sister, but it only makes Elly even more upset.

Feeling terrible, Bea makes amends with Elly and Finn by organising an impromptu memorial service for Shaun at Lassiters lake.

Bea is relieved when this proves to be a breakthrough, allowing Elly and Finn to move one step closer to dealing with Shaun's demise.

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, October 28 and Tuesday, October 29 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

The wording "officially considered dead" is interesting, perhaps he isn't and just trapped somewhere. Otherwise why not just say they recovered his body?

Anyway should have stayed in Erinsborough, no avalanches in Ramsay St - so far:)

Elly isn't having much luck finding a Dad for her baby. First she tries to convince Mark it's his, he finds out, divorces her and leaves the show. Then she's about to get together with Shaun and he disappears under a pile of snow.

You could be right. We are still waiting for Bea's temporary exit storyline.

Finn and Elly get togetether and Bea goes away for a bit?

I think that Elly will realise that she loves Shaun and he returns. Or messier version......she gets involved with Finn thinking Shaun is gone, then Shaun returns!

It could be a plot between Shaun and his mother - he could come back at a later date and kidnap the baby? There's always been something a bit off with him I've thought, "too nice".

Neighbours to bring another character back from the dead
What are they doing back on the scene?

https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/neighbours/a32360418/neighbours-spoilers-shaun-watkins-alive-return/

Neighbours is going to bring another character back from the dead following the recent return of Dee Bliss.

Australia's TV Week has revealed what fans down under can expect in next week's batch of episodes (beginning Monday, May 11) so this is your last chance to look away before we go into detail about scenes that won't air for four weeks in the UK.

OK, so Elly Conway is wrongly in prison for the death of Finn Kelly, and her daughter Aster is in the custody of grandmother Claudia Watkins, which is the last place she wants her to be.

Elly has been doing some digging to try to get custody rights given to the Kennedys instead, and when Claudia finds out, she decides to scarper with Aster in tow.

As she arrives to the airport in an effort to flee the country, she sees none other than her own son, Shaun!

Shaun (Brad Moller) was declared dead after a trip to Switzerland went horribly wrong, although fans weren't convinced he had really kicked the bucket.

Turns out they were right, and now he is back to try to keep his family together, but will Claudia listen to him and return to Erinsborough?

Neighbours has been airing a reduced number of episodes in the UK lately, but now that filming has resumed in Australia, the British broadcaster will return to airing it five times a week from next Monday (May 11).

Neighbours currently airs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and weekdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
