EastEnders' Kat Moon will finally be reunited with her children next month after Alfie returns to Walford.

Shane Richie recently reprised his role as Alfie for a tense meeting with his estranged wife Kat, which ended on a sour note when she learned he didn't have their boys with him.

Spoilers for next week had already revealed that Alfie would be heading back for another reunion with Kat imminently, but these new pictures show that this time he does have the youngsters with him.

Alfie will turn up in Walford desperate to make amends with Kat, but she only has one thing on her mind – seeing the kids.

After a heart-to-heart with Alfie, Kat is overwhelmed when she is finally reunited with Tommy, Bert and Ernie. But what does the future hold for her and Alfie?

Monday

Alfie discovers the truth about Hayley's baby
How will he react?

Kat is shocked when Alfie apologises for his behaviour and reveals that he wants her back. Jean is also startled by Alfie's reappearance, not wanting him to see Hayley and the baby. Kat ends up having a heart-to-heart with Alfie and is finally reunited with her sons.

Later on, Jean's worst fears are realised when Alfie ends up cradling Hayley's baby during the family party. When Hayley arrives and reveals that she's the mother, Alfie is shocked.

Meanwhile, Ian's latest attempts to impress Mel are interrupted when Ray arrives. Taking action, Ian exacts his revenge on Ray.

Elsewhere, Keegan and Louise make the most of an empty house but are interrupted by Ian.

Also today, Tiffany is shocked when Evie turns up at Hayley's party.

Tuesday

Alfie and Hayley clash angrily over the baby
Does Hayley hold all the cards?

Hayley is angry to see Alfie back in Walford and orders Jean to put a stop to the party. Alfie wants to talk to Hayley, but is distracted when Kat tries to speak to him about his return.

After managing to distract Kat for a while, Alfie finally confronts Hayley. He makes it clear that he's back for Kat, leaving her disappointed. Alfie does plead to be a part of the baby's life but Hayley refuses, threatening to tell Kat the truth.

Meanwhile, when Ray ditches her for work again, Mel meets up with Maddie at the E20 and tricks her into revealing where he might be. Mel's mission leads her to the outside of a pub – what will she discover?

Elsewhere, Honey defies Billy's attempts to meddle in her relationship with Adam.

Also today, Max isn't happy when he finds out that Rainie has brought baby Abi along to Hayley's party.

Thursday

Jean threatens Alfie over the baby
Will she reveal the truth to Kat?

Alfie plans an event for his Blue Moon Funerals venture and convinces Hayley to help him out. As they spend time together, Hayley finally sees how much their baby means to him. However, Hayley is disappointed when Alfie later turns his attentions back to Kat, creating a touching gesture for her.

Later, Jean can't resist getting involved and warns Alfie that she knows the truth. She warns him to tell Kat the truth, or she'll do it for him.

Meanwhile, Mel meets up with Maddie and this time reveals the truth about who she really is. Maddie refuses to believe her, but Mel has another bombshell to drop.

Elsewhere, Tiffany follows Evie's instructions and gives Keegan drugs, but she gets caught out by Bernadette.

Also today, Billy plans revenge against Adam after taking some inspiration from Alfie.

Friday

Jean continues to threaten Alfie
How will he deal with her ultimatum?

Jean continues to pile the pressure on Alfie, ordering him to tell Kat the truth.

Stacey also grows confused over Jean's strange behaviour, but will she find out what's going on?

Meanwhile, Maddie tells Mel that she wants to confront Ray, but Mel advises her not to as Ray is dangerous. As the ladies talk, someone is watching and later confronts them.

Elsewhere, Evie is impressed by Tiffany and invites her to The Vic, suggesting she should bring Bernadette too.

Also today, Karen joins choir practice after hearing about their Christmas competition with a cash prize, while Ian opens up to Jean about Lucy's death.
