The Housemates are beginning to suspect a curse has fallen on one side of the bedroom that causes all who slumber there to be evicted.
Gathered in the loft, Orlaith, Vanessa and Makosi discussed the evidence for the theory in hushed tones.
Orlaith recalled how Craig had mentioned that he had briefly slept in Maxwell's bed but never moved over to the other side permanently, because "it's people who've moved beds that have left".
The superstitious Irish lass added, "Because Mary could've left a type of omen. She slept there didn't she?"
Vanessa shivered at the very thought and her fears weren't helped by remembering that Mary had kept a few voodoo dolls. As Orlaith helpfully pointed out, "Voodoo dolls are bad luck."
But Makosi was sceptical and fearlessly asked, "Shall I sleep in one of the beds tonight to check it out?"
"No!" gasped a horrified Vanessa, but Makosi chuckled, "I don't think it's a bad omen, it's just bad character."
Yes, Makosi. That and the voodoo dolls.
