Elsewhere in Summer Bay, Ty Anderson is reunited with his mother Jodi for the first time in years.

Jodi (Sara Zwangobani) comes to the Bay after Marilyn Chambers decides to track her down, wanting to hear why she's had nothing to do with Ty for so many years.

When Jodi gets her chance to explain herself, she reveals that her husband died suddenly when Ty (Darius Williams) was just a child.

Struggling with her grief, Jodi handed Ty over to his grandparents for a while – but they later turned against her by refusing to give him back, insisting that he was better off with them.

Marilyn later decides that Jodi deserves a chance to tell Ty this in person, but the teen is shocked to see his mum in the Bay.

Will he agree to give her another chance once they've talked about the past?
