Holby City has worked with the mental health charity Mind on a special episode focusing on male mental health.

Long-serving Dr Sacha Levy struggles with his emotions after a devastating surgical outcome for a favourite patient.

The episode departs from Holby’s usual format, exploring previously shown scenes from a new perspective, as the shattered consultant looks back at a testing year at Holby.

Well I'm glad Sacha didn't kill himself, but I am confused now since it seems like Holby has forgot they were supposedly killing off a main character "within the month" but it's ages now since they said that?

I know, although I heard on the radio yesterday that Rosie Marcel is going in the jungle so don't know if that means anything.

I hope she just needs time to recover from her op .. hence she has time to go to the jungle in real life

I was so relieved when Sasha decided not to jump from the roof ... I really thought for a moment he would do it .. excellent performance by Bob Barrett

Could the regular patient be classed as main character? Or is Jac going to die after all? :(

I certainly wouldn't class him as a main character. Honestly I don't really know whether to take someone dying with a pinch of salt now as they said "within the month" ages ago, but on the other hand, if someone is going to die then I think it's most likely to be Jac, especially with her going on I'm A Celeb. Unless of course they do another Bonnie (think that was her name?) and someone dies crossing the road.

I started watching this last episode and found it really awful. All over the show showing bits and bats of things that weren't strung together in a very watchable way imo.
I had to turn it off after not very long as I don't like roof scenes - it quite literally makes my feet curl uncomfortably. And I didn't want to watch anything bad happen to him.
I won't be bothering with it on catchup.
