Hi I have an audition tomorrow for the school production of bugsy malone and I dont have an audition song. I know i should have been more prepared but i have been off school ill and only found out yesterday also i have a cold which i am going to try and sing through. Any song suggestions?
I wouldn't do a modern song, because if your teachers are doing it they might not have heard of it, and might not know it and how its meant to be sung. i'd stick to a song from a different musical, or a classic song that nearly everyone knows, like Dancing Queen by Abba

I'm thinking of doing 'somewhere out there' from An American Tail cos i know my music teacher has a soft spot for it. I am auditioning for blousie but tallulah would be just as great if i got it

You could try something with a big range, show off you vocal talents!

Ive always love the song "Tommorow" from Annie, that would definately show of your vocals, i'd definately go for a song from a musical though, Good Luck

my friend usually sings "a whole new world" from aladdin when she auditions for things
good luck! :)
Thats a really good song to sing, cause nearly everyone has heard of it. Some of the Lion King songs are good to sing as well
yeh Disney songs are great o sing. I usually Audition using A whole new world or the one from toy story when she loved me.

It went ok but i dont think I'll get the part I want there are these 2 kids in my class who go dancing and to stage school and they get the best parts in nearly everything even though they're not that great at acting or singing

i know what its like, there were people like that at my old school, but one year it backfired on them, you should have seen their faces! so anyways, if youre better than them you do still have a chance and there are probably a lot of people at your school who dont think theyre good. good luck, im sure you have a good chance :)

The audition went well but I didnt get the part. Like I predicted the stage school drama club girls got the part I wanted now I'm not even on the cast list and will have to be in the chorus. To top it of the boy I really fancy got the main part and if I had gotten the part I wanted I would have gotten to kiss him (swoons)Now I have to stand and watch while this other girl gets to do it (Sigh)
