I did have a quick look and couldnt see a thread on friends (sorry if there is) so i thought id start one
for those who watch/ed it who is your favourite friend?
my favourite is joey or phoebe (i like them all though) :)
We have had a poll on this before, but I don't mind doing it again! Chandler rules!
Has to be Phoebe loved her silly ways....oh and who can forget smelly cat

i like it when ross pretends he knows what rachel is on about (with that letter) and then when they are in bed he just loses it and screams 'we were on a break' that was a funny ross moment!!!! lol
i voted for pheobe but its sooooooooo hard to choose

that was good i also like the late thanxgiving when they are late and monica and chadler are waiting to eat and all chandler is worried about is his cranberries( think that how it spelt) and then the floating heads. and when joey rips ross shirt pocket to look like he's been mugged
They have all had moments in certain episodes. Another Ross moment was when he gets knocked out on the swings by the kid as hes trying to help rachel conquer her fears of being scared of swings.

i love the one where there all up all nite! and joey and ross get stuck on the roof but then finally come to some stairs and ross is saying to joey rite all you need to do......and joey says im not climbing down there what if i break my ankle or something then ross says "im not gunna lie to u joey is a possilbilty" that cracks me up everytime lol. and also phoebe cant sleep cos er fire alrm keeps going off. Love that episode! xx

I voted Chandler. I never really like Rachel really, she just acted so dumb and got on my nerves. I didn't mind her with Ross though. I prefered Phoebe.

Chandler gets my vote and always loved his friendship with Joey. I love the episode 'the one with all the kissing' when he and Monica had just come back from London.
I also love the one with Ross fake tan... that is just classic Ross. Oh and the one where he finds out about Rachel being pregnant. I love the look on Joey's face when Ross tells him that condoms are not 100% effective. :rotfl: :rotfl:

I chose Chandler and Phoebe, they are both really funny characters, I love all of them though. I loved Joey in Friends, but I've never got into 'Joey' the tv series. I watched (approx) the first six episodes and taped them, but then I lost interest. I would definetely watch it though, if they decided to bring the rest of the cast of 'Friends' into the series. I don't think any one character of 'Friends' would work well in a spin off tv series. They all brought something different too the show. It's not the same with 'Joey', and it wouldn't be with 'Phoebe', 'Ross' etc.
I love Frasier and I know that was a spin off from 'Cheers', but I think that was different because his character hadn't really been established in 'Cheers'. There was still so much more too explore. All we saw was him in the pub, we had no knowledge of his career or his family.

I love Friends, it's so funny and quick-witted! I try and watch this show everytime I have the change. I've got the series 7 boxset for 2.50 when I went to the town with Chloeth (~ Clo ~) and her sister Niquel (Nicole) :)

monica/chandler: that is one couple that i never saw coming until it actually happened and they are so good together they are like a comedy couple its hilarious
rachel/ross: now that is a couple everyone saw coming from the very first episode and they were still together at the last episode. the romance they had was the best couple in the show
joey: hes so sweet and dumb its actually funny
phoebe: hilarious out look on life with a heart of gold and very very nutty
I don't think the newer episodes are that funny. The older the better

You reckon. I have all the episodes, and I think Series one is very dated. I like it, and thought it was great at the time, but I think a lot of the newer episodes are excellent.
Oh and somebody above was saying that Rachel and Ross are the best couple in Friends, but I think Chandler and Monica are. Probably because we've seen more of them recently. That on again off again thing that Rachel and Ross have had going on since day one, has got a bit waring at times. I was happy when they got together in the end, but Chandler and Monica have the real 'stick together through thick and thin' kind of relationship, they are very solid as a couple.

I heard soethng about it but i didn't know if it was real but then the network has denied it as em9283 has said. althrough i do miss it.

I don't know, you might grow to love her. I think she's the kind of person you would have to build up a friendship with over a period of time. You have to understand someone before you can really be their friend. First impressions don't really count for much.

It's called 'The Comeback', I've watched about 3 episodes but I haven't really got into it. It's not a mainstream comedy, it's more of a reality show. To be honest I don't know why Lisa Kudrow wanted to do it so much. Maybe I'm not giving it a fair chance, but I heard they are only doing one series of it.

Lisa Kudrow plays a different character to Phoebe, I think her names Valerie.

ooo yeh ive heard of the show its lisa kudrow playing an actress that used to be really popular but now shes like not known so she volunteers herself for a reality TV show in which she has cameras follow her round 24/7 at first she thinks the attention is great but then starts to get annoyed etc etc.

Megan, I'm afraid they have pulled the plug. Channel 5 will not be showing the second series of Joey. I believe no more is being commissioned in the US either.
Ireland is shown the second series now.. and any other if there is any more

everyone else needs time to get used to the fact that there is joey without 5 friends and an additional 3 characters
