Monday (1)

Eva and Johnny's custody battle gets nastier
They struggle to reach an agreement.


Eva, Johnny and Jenny attend a mediation session to discuss Susie's future. When Johnny pulls out the fake birth certificate, a shocked Eva is forced to admit her regret over her crazy plan.

Sensing the fight is getting dirty, Eva twists the knife, pointing out that she wouldn't trust Jenny to look after a baby with her track record. As the session descends into a row, Johnny despairs.

Back at home, Johnny blames Jenny for scuppering his chances of custody.

Meanwhile, Mr Fitzgerald from Weatherfield High drops off the school minibus with Abi at the garage, but as she works on the vehicle, she's shocked to find a bag of drugs in the glove box.

Elsewhere, when Cathy muses that she fancies a change of career and would like to open a shop, she and Brian decide they want to open a hardware store.

Also, Sally arrives back from the Town Hall and Tim does his best to comfort her. Back at the factory, Sally assures the girls she was duped by Duncan and knew nothing of his scam. But will anyone believe her?

Finally, Gemma is gutted when she reads on social media that Henry has got engaged.


Monday (2 - 9.30pm)

Eva's baby daughter Susie is kidnapped
Who has taken her?

Johnny tells Liz how Jenny proved a liability in the mediation meeting and he plans to leave her. Despite her love for him, Liz tells Johnny that whether he likes it or not, Susie belongs with her mum and he belongs with his wife.

Later at The Rovers, a drunk Toyah tells Leanne that she's lost Peter, her baby and soon her home too. As she stares at Susie in her moses basket, we then see the basket is empty.

Meanwhile, an edgy-looking Mr Fitzgerald returns to the garage, claiming that he left his wallet in the minibus. Abi refuses to let him in, having called the police. As they search for drugs, Tyrone suspects Abi is responsible, but when they arrest Mr Fitzgerald, he feels awful.

Spotting the police with Abi, Steve reports back to Eileen. Abi is furious, pointing out that she was simply giving a statement and now Steve could have scuppered her chances of getting her kids back.

Elsewhere, as Chesney comforts Gemma, she thanks him for being the best friend ever. Cathy tells Chesney that if he doesn't tell Gemma how he truly feels about her, then she will.

Also, Brian and Cathy look at some empty shop premises, while Tim is proud when Sally reveals she plans to help look after Jack.


Wednesday (1)

Eva panics over Susie's disappearance
Will she be brought back safely?

An upset Jenny reveals that Johnny never came home last night. Over at The Rovers, when Eva wakes and discovers that Susie is missing, she's thrown into blind panic. Her first thought is Toyah, but when she appears without Susie, suspicion soon moves to Johnny.

The police take Susie's details and promise to do everything they can to trace her. At the same time, Johnny sits in a hotel room cradling Susie.

Meanwhile, Chesney takes Gemma for lunch at the Bistro. He's about to confess his feelings for her when they're interrupted by the arrival of Henry.

Elsewhere, in an attempt to make amends, Steve helps Abi and Seb, who are frantically tidying the house before Eileen returns. Eileen arrives home to mayhem. However, her disapproval is overshadowed by the news that Steve is engaged to Tracy.

Also, aware that Jude and Angie are going through a rocky patch, Mary offers to babysit so they can have a night out.

Finally, Sinead shows Daniel the vacant shop, suggesting it would be perfect for her vintage clothes shop. Brian points out they're too late, as he's already put in an offer.


Wednesday (2 - 9.30pm)

Johnny struggles to cope with Susie
Can Liz convince him to see sense?

Liz realises that Johnny stole her keys to the pub. Taking this in, Kate and Jenny search his flat and are horrified to find that Johnny hasn't been taking his MS pills.

In a hotel room, a weak Johnny struggles to feed Susie, as a bereft Eva makes a public appeal for her return. Having watched the appeal, Johnny calls Liz.

When Liz arrives, Johnny breaks down and admits that he can't bear to lose his granddaughter.

Meanwhile, Henry declares his love for Gemma and tells her how his parents forced him to get engaged to Cressida by threatening to disinherit him. Gemma tells him to get lost. However, Henry soon announces that he's told them to stick their inheritance, he wants to be with Gemma instead and he's bought her The Rovers. Will Gemma be moved?

Elsewhere, Steve begs Eileen not to throw Abi and Seb out on the street. Eileen begrudgingly agrees, on the condition that he breaks off his engagement to Tracy.

Also, Brian is incensed to hear that Daniel and Sinead have gazumped him over the shop. Cathy promises to try and talk them out of it, but when Sinead describes her vision of a vintage clothes shop, Cathy can't help but be swept up by her enthusiasm and agrees that she deserves the unit. Brian is furious, revealing that he's already resigned from his job.

Finally, at Jude's insistence, Angie accompanies him to see a marriage guidance counsellor. Angie admits she's lost all respect for Jude and feels trapped in her marriage.


Friday (1)

Johnny plans to flee to Spain with Susie
Will Liz agree to join him?

Liz urges Johnny to give this up, but Johnny refuses to listen. As Johnny has been spotted buying baby paraphernalia without Susie, the police tell Eva that Johnny must have an accomplice and suspicion falls on Liz.

At the hotel, Johnny tells Liz that he plans to go on the run to Spain with Susie and wants her to come with them. As Johnny kisses Liz, will she agree?

Meanwhile, Eileen and Dev drag Steve to the Bistro and warn him that by marrying Tracy again, he'll be making the biggest mistake of his life. Will Steve listen?

Elsewhere, as Craig battles his OCD, Kayla reckons he should give up his police career as the stress could push him over the edge. Sitting with Neil, she swears to prove his innocence.

Also, Ryan suggests Bethany should join him in Ibiza for a few days. She's tempted. but all thoughts turn to Craig when he admits he's thinking of jacking in the police force.

Finally, when Henry's phone buzzes with a call from his father, he quickly kills the call.


Friday (2 - 9.30pm)

Tracy makes a shocking discovery
How will she feel about Eileen's sabotage attempt?

Tracy walks in as Eileen and Dev continue their character assassination of her.

Tracy is fuming to realise Eileen is trying to break her and Steve up. Will it work?

Meanwhile, Bethany makes Craig an appointment with his therapist, insisting he mustn't throw away his career. Kayla tears a strip off Bethany for interfering in Craig's life, pointing out that he's not her boyfriend any more.

Elsewhere, Cathy and Chesney warn Gemma that Henry is not to be trusted.
