Monday

Cain attacks an intruder at Butler's Farm
But the mystery arrival is a familiar face.

Hour-long episode

Cain warns Moira that Simon is back in the area. At the same time, an unknown figure enters Butlers Farm and begins rifling through the drawers. Cain arrives and confronts him, knocking him out cold.

When the intruder comes round, he reveals that his name is Matty, but Cain doesn't seem to know him. Cain is also confused when he finds the document Matty was trying to steal was Hannah's birth certificate.

Later on, Moira arrives and recognises Matty immediately. Matty was previously known as Hannah, but has transitioned during his years away from the village.

Moira struggles to comprehend the news and is hurt when she finds out that Matty only came back for his birth certificate, having been living in Manchester for all this time.

Meanwhile, Daz tells Dan, Kerry and Bernice about the ransom call he received.

Elsewhere, Jai and Rishi confront Lachlan and he struggles to lie his way out of their accusations.

Also today, Bob and Laurel are anxious.

Tuesday

David and Tracy are brought back together
But for how long?

Tracy is keen when Pollard mentions that he's been thinking about hiring a cleaner.

David and Tracy find themselves in the same proximity due to this and one thing leads to another as they end up kissing.

Meanwhile, Moira reflects on the pain of her past.

Elsewhere, Rishi tries to impress Helen by wearing a Lycra cycling outfit, but will it do the trick?

Also today, Pete encourages Ross to book a posh restaurant for his date with Rebecca while he plans to charm Rhona's mates.

Cain is attacked as Simon makes a shock return

Cain is busy working on a car when out of the blue, he's hit to the floor.

The culprit is revealed to be a bloodied and bruised Simon, who's menacing as he raises a spanner to hit Cain once again.

Meanwhile, David enjoys spending time with Maya.

Elsewhere, Jai and Rishi have a war of words over Helen and soon the office is divided – by cardboard boxes.

Also today, Kerry is desperate.

Finally, Rhona is contrite after Pete's disastrous meeting with her friends.
