Eddie realises Alicia is scared of him after discovering that she has swapped all her shifts to avoid him. Meanwhile, Bea receives a phone call about her dad and leaves work to pick him up from the police station, and Sam and Jacob discuss which of the ED staff she would be able to beat in a boxing match.

Ethan is Eddie's new mentor. Ethan claims that rotating F1s is standard ED practice, but Rash confirms that this is untrue. Alicia ignores another text from Eddie, so he follows her into an elevator. She begs him to let her go and flinches when he leans towards her. Scared, she slides out of the elevator.

Later, Eddie finds that Alicia has swapped all of her shifts in order to avoid him. Eddie confronts Alicia after their shift.

Meanwhile, Bea gets a phone call about her dad and leaves work to pick him up from the police station. She knows that he's drinking again and he hasn't been taking his medication.

Elsewhere, Sam and Jacob discuss which of the ED staff she'd be able to beat. She thinks that she can take Jacob. They decide to settle it and spar with each other.

Also this week, Elle finds out that Connie has been running a lot of tests on herself.
