Monday

Keegan steals an unattended bike as he's in a rush to get home. His decision takes a serious turn when Shakil warns that he's stolen the bike from a potentially dangerous gang, who've put up a picture of him on social media. Keegan still refuses to return the bike, so Shakil secretly decides to take it back himself.

Soon afterwards, the gang descend on Albert Square wanting revenge against Keegan. When Keegan finds out about Shakil taking the bike, he realises that he's not the only one in danger here.

Keegan spots one of the gang members in The Vic alleyway, but before he has a chance to do anything, he is stabbed. As Keegan collapses, he sees that Shakil has also been stabbed in the alleyway.

Meanwhile, punters gather at the pub to celebrate the Royal Wedding – and to watch the FA Cup. There's a commotion when Mo brings her own booze and receives a warning from Linda. Kat is also highly amused when Linda reminds Hayley that she's barred. Annoyed by the way she's being treated, Hayley pours her drink all over Kat.

Tuesday

Shakil tries to get help after the double stabbing, but as his condition deteriorates, he ends up collapsing out of sight.

Later on, Mick is just about to head to bed when he's horrified to find Keegan in a bad state. As Mick calls an ambulance, Keegan tries to tell him about Shakil too – but his injury is so bad that he struggles to get the message across.

With all attention on Keegan, Mick decides to drive him to the hospital but calls an ambulance and asks for the emergency services to look out for them on the way. Will Mick's plan pay off?

Meanwhile, Keanu and Bernadette worry about Keegan's disappearance and try to warn Karen that he's in danger from the gang.

Elsewhere, Hayley cons a stranger out of money on the Tube, but later becomes a victim herself when a young homeless girl called Brianna steals the cash from her.

Also today, Arshad and Mariam give Masood some cash to help with his business.

Thursday

It's the morning after the stabbing and the residents finally start to worry about Shakil when they realise that he's missing.

When Masood hears what's going on with Shakil, he comes to a shocking realisation.

Meanwhile, Hayley borrows some of Stacey's clothes as she announces that she's going to meet her new man. Kat "kindly" helps Hayley get ready, but Jean realises that she's planning to play a prank on Hayley.

Elsewhere, Masood tells Ian that he doesn't want to be his business partner anymore.

Friday

Shakil's family receive devastating news from the doctor – his injuries were too severe and he's passed away.

Meanwhile, Kat thinks about her own children after the day's tragic events.
