1) if you have a scratched cd,stick it in the freezer over night and it should work by the morning.
keep your clingfilm in the freezer,makes it much easier to peel out.
To remove hair dye from bathroom surfaces, use nail polish removal pads.
If your mobile phone battery doesnt last for very long and you have to keep charging it. Put it in a blastic bag and leave in the freezer overnight, take it out and let it stand for a few mins it will then be good as new (apparently)
Never realised so many problems could be solved by the freezer!!, now if you could just fine one to put my boyfriend in.
If you cant get the top of your nail varnish, put it in the freezer for a few hours.
stop rugs curling at the corners by sewing small lead weights(from any hardware shop) under each corner.
Another freezwe related one!!
To get chewing gum off clothes, put them in the freezer overnight and it will easily peel off in the morning.
when you are assembling a new bed,keep the instructions under the ,mattress.you'll need them again when you move house and that way you wont forget where they are.
if you cant get the top off your bottle of nail varnish,wind a elastic band around it a few times for extra grip.

to get tipex off of surfaces, use nail varnish remover
to get ink off clothes, spray a little hair spray onto it
To stop bananas going bad, wrap them in tin foil and put them in the fridge. They last a week longer that way
To free the stuck down end of a roll of sticky tape, hold briefly in the steam of a kettle, using tongs to stop your hand burning
To waterproof addresses written in felt tipped pen and stop the ink smearing, rub the writting with the end of a candle
To stop a cake going dry, put a piece of bread in a tin with it
If you get tiny sctaches on glassware, rub it with toothpaste
If your kids put crayon onto a table, wall or smooth flooring, rub with cigarette ash or metal polish
To stop potatoes sprouting then put a apple in the bag with them and they wont (apparently)
Get rid of sticky marks left by labels with a little meths, white spirit or lighter fuel
to remove chewing gum from a childs hair rub with olive oil, withhazel or peanut butter. Leave for an hour and wash as normal
Get rid of dirty marks on walls, rub with fresh bread (dont ask me how, but i'm told it works!)
peel onions underwater to stop your eyes from watering
To remove bleach smell from hands (and that slimy feeling) pour a little vinegar or lemon juice over your hands then rinse.
. Get some safety pins and keep them by the washing machine for your socks .Pin the toes of the socks together so you save time matching them up after the laundry process.
To remove the strong odor of onions from your hands, hold a stainless steel spoon in your hand while running water and rub your hands as though the spoon were soap. Silly, but it works!
Use bread to pick up fragments of broken glass
Mend a torn page in a book by painting it together using egg white
Mend a broken lipstick by softening the ends in a match flame, pressing them together and placing them in the fridge to harden back up again
To ease the sticking zip, rub a pencil over the sticking teeth
If you buy batteries or films in bulk, keep them in teh fridge to keep them fresh untill you need them (again, dont ask me how i just found out that it works!)

To 'level' out lipgloss or vaseline in a tin, stick it under a lamp for a few minutes, and then turn it off. Don't touch it though (either the tin or the contents) as it gets really hot!
to keep your clothes smelling lovely and fresh stick a 'bounce' in your drawer!
if you can't open a jar, bang the side of the lid all the way round on a work surface and it should open.
Use toothpaste to clean the keys on a piano
When painting above your head push the brush through a paper plate to catch the drips
When painting a floor, work towards the door so you dont paint yourself in
