Monday:

Terese is overjoyed as Gary agrees to marry her. Later, Gary attends a meeting on Terese's behalf, where Paul makes a dent in his confidence.

Inspired by Jane's memory of a previous campaign, Paul proposes a pageant-style competition to find a new Face of Lassiter's.

Piper's search for the mystery underliner at the book exchange leads her into trouble.

Tuesday:

Piper is determined to continue her quest for the mystery underliner.

After an unfortunate episode with Jane, Xanthe needs consolation. Chloe obliges by offering her a drink, and Paul is furious when he discovers Xanthe plastered.

Concerned that Mishti may be bottling up her emotions after her miscarriage, Leo gets in touch with her old friend Monique.

Wednesday:

Leo fires Chloe for encouraging Xanthe to drink, but gives her another chance when she comes up with a useful promotional idea.

Monique arrives from Sydney and wastes no time catching up with Mishti, but Leo soon suspects her true motives.

Competition for the Face of Lassiter's contest brings David and Aaron together in unexpected fashion.

Thursday:

Susan organises a 'trash and treasure' fundraiser for Karl's MRI screening project. The locals donate enthusiastically, but Piper is devastated when Mark and Aaron give away Tyler's old chair.

After meeting up with Monique, Leo is even more suspicious of her and asks a private detective to do some digging into her background.

Friday:

Steph persuades Piper that she needs help in dealing with her mental state.

Terese is dumbfounded when Paul offers her a huge sum to pull out of Lassiter's.

Clive tells Susan and Karl that their screening project is doomed to failure.

After Mark engineers a meeting between David and Aaron, the two seem to be back on track.

Piper's In Peril When Her Mystery Man Turns Aggressor.

Trapped in a room as an aggressive man advances on her - Piper experiences every woman's worst nightmare in Neighbours this week.

When Piper (Mavournee Hazel) disappears her friends and family rally to find the troubled teen. But will they be too late to save her from being assaulted?

In a separate incident, a heartbroken Piper has a meltdown over a chair Tyler owned.

She's overwhelmed with grief when she discovers Aaron (Matt Wilson) and Mark (Scott McGregor) donated it to a trash-and-treasure sale.

As fans know, Piper and Tyler broke up when he was sent to prison for murder.

"Piper is very unstable at the moment," Mavournee, 21, tells TV WEEK. "She feels no-one understands what she's going through or the pain she's feeling."

Poor Piper feels she's lost her identity.

"She doesn't know who she is anymore," Mavournee explains. "For so long she's been defined by her relationship with Tyler."

Just how she finds herself alone with a stranger is further proof Piper isn't in her right mind. Finding some solace in books, Piper becomes obsessed with a mystery person who is underlining passages in books at the local exchange.

"The passages resonate with her," Mavournee says. "It's like she's found a kindred spirit - someone who understands her."

At the exchange, Piper sees a guy dropping off one of her favourite books. She flicks through the book and, to her joy, sees it contains underlined passages.

Convinced it's her mystery underliner, Piper follows the guy to The Shed. There, she learns from Aaron the man's name is Lockie (Alexander Arco) and that he works at the Back Lane Bar.

Piper heads to the bar to talk books with the man she believes is her mystery underliner. Lockie, however, sees things differently. He thinks the reason she's there is to hook up with him.

"With her tunnel vision, she can't see how her actions are taken out of context," Mavournee explains.

Piper protests as a now angry Lockie locks the door. He slithers closer to her as he reveals that he knows why she's here - and she's going to get it.

"It all happens so fast," Mavournee says of the terrifying situation. "It goes from locking the door, to him being in her personal space very quickly."

Meanwhile, Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) is horrified when Elly (Jodi Anasta) and Xanthe (Lilly Van der Meer) tell her they can't find Piper.

Will Piper escape Lockie's clutches before it's too late?



Friend Or Foe?

Mishti's Friend Is Not What She Seems.

Leo's good deed backfires this week when he arranges for a friend of Mishti to visit her - only to have the woman try to blackmail him!

But will Leo (Tim Kano) tell Mishti (Scarlet Vas) what's happened? Or will he hold his tongue and play sly Monique's (Madeleine Vizard) game?

Leo is concerned for Mishti in the wake of her miscarriage. When flowers arrive for her, Leo is surprised to find they're from a friend named Monique.

She was at the police academy with Mishti and her former fiancé, Xander, who was murdered.

When Mishti explains Monique was going to be her bridesmaid, Leo secretly invites her to Erinsborough.

"He thinks she might be able to cheer up Mishti," Tim, 31, says.

But when Monique comes to town, she overhears Chloe express relief that Leo let her off the hook for getting Xanthe drunk.

When Monique confronts Leo about it, he urges her not to tell Mishti.

Monique agrees to keep quiet - but says he'll have to cough up $1000.

Confused, Leo can't believe Mishti's friend just tried to blackmail him.

"It's pretty shocking," Tim says. "He doesn't know how to take her."

For once, Leo is in a situation where he doesn't have the upper hand.
