Monday (1)


It's the day of the boxing match and the local residents gather for the event. Tyrone has had to withdraw as Fiz has managed to get an appointment for Hope. Josh dismisses David's request to take Tyrone's place because of his epilepsy.

As the fights commence, all is going well until David forces his way into the ring and insists on fighting Gary in Tyrone's place. As weeks of tension come to the surface and before anyone can stop him, David loses control. The crowd watch in horror as David repeatedly punches Gary, knocking him out cold.

Meanwhile, the Connors throw a birthday brunch in the Bistro for Aidan. Carla arrives with the news that she has secured a big order for the factory and hands Aidan his gift.

Elsewhere, Mary tries to help Jude solve his problem.

Also, Robert hands in Tyrone's urine sample for the boxing match, passing it off as his own.

Finally, Fiz and Tyrone are upbeat about Hope's therapy, but there is some way to go.


Monday (2)

Gary is rushed to hospital in an ambulance and a furious Sarah screams at David that she will make him pay for what he has done. David is arrested and questioned about the attack.

Later, doctors tell Sarah that the next 24 hours are crucial for Gary as he has a bleed on the brain. Could David be facing a murder charge?

Meanwhile, Johnny is concerned to find Aidan looking like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. Aidan confesses that he is overwhelmed by Carla's generosity and that he isn't sure he can cope with the responsibility.

Elsewhere, Fiz despairs as Hope's bad behaviour continues and she shows no remorse over stealing a doll from the surgery.

Also, Mary's plans to help Jude hit a snag.


Wednesday (1)


Toyah is pleased to hear that Eva has signed the lease on a cottage in Lymm.

Later, when the midwife at the antenatal class starts talking about the importance of the father's involvement, it's clear that Eva is starting to struggle.

Meanwhile, Imran encourages David to plead not guilty on the grounds that he didn't understand boxing rules. Soon afterwards, Zeedan tells Ali that he found a steroid needle when he was clearing up after the fight. Ali is convinced that David must have taken steroids and that's what made him attack Gary, but David insists he has never touched steroids. Will Ali believe him?

Elsewhere, Robert and Michelle are celebrating winning a competition – £500 and a crate of beer – when a woman comes in, saying she saw Robert at the boxing match and she was impressed. She asks him to consider being part of a calendar she is doing. Robert is pleased to be asked, but Michelle isn't sure how he will react when he realises what it is for.

Also, a nervous Aidan tells the girls he is their sole boss and offers £50 to the fastest machinist. Sean calls in to see him, but Aidan doesn't have time to see him. Carla calls in with a bottle of whisky for his desk drawer.


Wednesday (2)

Toyah talks to Eva about how she is feeling about the baby.

Toyah suggests that if Eva is struggling with the deal, she should tell Aidan she is having his baby. Will Eva take her advice?

Meanwhile, David goes round to the garage to see Josh, but is told that he has packed in his job as he blames himself for what happened in the boxing match. He storms round to Josh's flat to say that he is going to the police, but a confident Josh sneers at him. Sarah tells Gail she can no longer live in the same house as David so is moving out.

Elsewhere, Robert is delighted when the photographer shows him the mock-up of his photo for the calendar on a computer, but he's shocked when he sees it is for a cancer charity.

Also, Tyrone confides in Kev that he and Fiz nearly kissed. Kev tells him to try and make a go of it.


Friday (1)

Eva doesn't know what to do for the best, but ultimately makes a big decision about the baby.

Meanwhile, Carla is concerned when she sees bruises on Michelle's wrists. Michelle says it was just the result of a night of passion, but Carla is taken aback and follows Robert. What will she discover?

Elsewhere, as rumours of the steroid needle and David's possible addiction spread, he goes to the hospital to see Gary. As he watches a battered and bruised Gary sleeping, he breaks down and heads out, watched by Shona.

Also, Craig is thrilled to discover his police application has been successful and he has an assessment day. He is also trying to use the tapping techniques he was taught to control his OCD.


Friday (2)

Carla speaks to Robert and demands to know what he is up to.

Will Robert be able to wriggle out of this one?

Meanwhile, Toyah tells Peter that she has had £20 stolen and suspects Simon. Simon denies all knowledge.

Elsewhere, Shona tells David that she saw him at Gary's bedside and asks him if he is hooked on steroids. He denies it. Gary asks Sarah to marry him and she tells Gail and Audrey they are engaged again.

Also, Zeedan is enjoying looking after Rana, who is suffering from the flu. When Kate calls round, he manages to get rid of her without Rana knowing.
