Eugene's brother Greg updated him on the goings-on at home.
"Hi Eugene, it's your brother, Greg. Quite a lot has been happening since you've been away. The front garden at home has been regenerated - you can actually see the bushes again and the grass... even the snails. This living room here has been transformed - we have rekindled the life in here. Smoky, our cat, is getting a little bit better at jumping, she nearly jumped over me the other day. The radio rally, which you missed unfortunately, was really good - didn't get to see much of it, just wandered by, but that was good. Bye for now."
