EastEnders has revealed a first look at Keegan Baker's father Mitch making his arrival in Walford.

As announced earlier this week, Roger Griffiths has been cast in the role of Mitch, who's joining the show's cast for a guest stint this month.

These brand new pictures now offer a sneak peek at Mitch's first scenes, as he shocks Keegan's half-brother Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) by turning up at The Arches.

With Keanu far from pleased to see Mitch, it's clear that there's trouble ahead for the Taylor family – paving the way for some major revelations about their past.

Speaking earlier this week, Roger revealed: "The Taylors are an established tight-knit family on the Square, so coming in as Mitch – the wild card – meant I had to hit the ground running.

"I had a brilliant time and the actors who make up the Taylor family made me feel at home instantly. It was love at first sight."

EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, March 12 at 8pm on BBC One.

Monday

Keanu starts work at The Arches, but is surprised when Keegan's dad Mitch turns up unexpectedly and asks for his car to be fixed. Keanu carries out the repair, but wants rid of Mitch as quickly as possible and refuses to offer up any information about where the Taylor family are living.

Keanu's attempts to send Mitch on his way quickly are thwarted when he accidentally forgets to take the payment. Sure enough, Mitch turns up at the Taylor house to pay Keanu, leading to an argument. Karen and Keegan are shocked to see Keanu punching Mitch.

Meanwhile, Ian returns home from New Zealand and is full of optimism over the future, but he's not happy when Kim lets him know about Masood selling samosas in the chippy. Just when Ian comes round to the samosa idea, there's a disagreement over the profits and Masood quits.

Elsewhere, Patrick reveals that he's befriended a woman online who lives in Trinidad.

Tuesday

With Mitch gone again, Keanu warns Karen not to make contact with him. However, it's not long before Mitch turns up at the launderette and tries to charm Karen. Keegan and Keanu are both furious when Karen gives in and invites Mitch over for dinner.

When Keegan and Keanu put on a united front, Mitch is forced to leave – but Karen sneaks him back in as soon as everyone else is asleep.

Meanwhile, Ian invites Mel out for a drink, promising to let her know about some useful business contacts – but his romantic intentions are thwarted when Jack joins them. Things only get worse when Ian finds himself in an embarrassing argument with Masood in front of Mel. How will Mel react when Ian asks her to give their relationship another try?

Elsewhere, Patrick wins a large sum of money on a horse and considers visiting Trinidad to meet his online friend. How will Patrick react when an oblivious Denise suggests spending the money on a new sofa?

Thursday

Keanu is livid when he finds out about Karen and Mitch spending the night together. Growing tired of Keanu's unfriendly attitude, Mitch asks Karen why she's never told him the truth about his own dad. Karen agrees it's time that Keanu knew the truth, but he doesn't give her a chance to explain – storming off and vowing to stay with Jay until Mitch has gone.

Soon afterwards, Keegan overhears Karen and Mitch talking and learns a shocking truth.

Meanwhile, Denise discovers that Patrick has been talking to someone online. It turns out that Patrick used to date his internet friend years ago and they now want to get married as they're still in love.

Elsewhere, Patrick is shocked by what Joyce tells him when she shares what's going on with Ted.

Also today, Kathy warns Ian to stop pursuing Mel, while Jack's own attempts to charm Mel also come to nothing.

Friday

Stacey spots that she has a number of missed calls from Big Mo, but she's unable to reach her when she phones back.

Later, Stacey finds Mo waiting for her at home. Stacey is stunned when Mo announces that Kat is dead!

Meanwhile, Keegan is shocked by what he's heard and demands further answers from Mitch. After telling Keegan the truth about Keanu's father, Mitch finds a way to use this to his advantage.

Elsewhere, Patrick finds Ted hiding from Joyce at the allotments, having told her that he's at the doctors. Joyce is furious when she finds out that Ted lied to her about his whereabouts.
