View Full Version : EastEnders Spoilers 29th Jan - 2nd Feb 2018
Monday
Aidan's men are still no closer to finding the missing money. With suspicion continuing to run high, Aidan turns his attentions to Mick in his quest for answers.
Later, when Aidan goes to see Phil and finds Mel there, he's left questioning Phil's loyalties too. What will Aidan do?
Meanwhile, Kim gets the wrong idea about Vincent's shifty behaviour, believing that he's having an affair. Vincent insists to Kim that he hasn't cheated on her, but he does break the news that he'll have to sell The Albert.
Elsewhere, Masood gets reprimanded by Kathy on his first day at the chippy when he annoys the customers by trying to change the flavour of the food.
Also today, Bernadette makes amends with Ted by helping him at the allotments, while Phil is worried about Ben's disappearance.
Tuesday
Mel warns Phil that he has to find the money by the end of the day, or she'll tell Aidan the truth about Ben's involvement. Phil then speaks to Vincent, who's unhappy after The Albert was broken into as a warning from Aidan. Vincent suggests that they should get rid of Aidan for good by reporting him to the police.
Later, Phil uses this conversation as a tactic – trying to shift Aidan's suspicions from Mick to Vincent.
Meanwhile, Kim has decided to arrange a DNA test to finally find out for sure whether she and Denise are sisters or not.
Elsewhere, Robbie convinces Masood to start selling Mariam's samosas on the market.
Also today, Bernadette asks Ted to teach her how to play chess.
Thursday
Aidan has finally lost patience over the missing money and goes to extreme measures to find it.
With tensions at an all-time high, will Aidan manage to solve the mystery?
Meanwhile, Denise grows suspicious when Kim asks for Kush's help in getting a DNA sample from her. Kim is forced to admit the truth over what she's up to.
Elsewhere, Masood asks Mariam to make a new batch of samosas – lying that they're for his "girlfriend".
Friday
Mel is facing fresh pressure from Ciara to solve the mystery of the missing money. Trying a new tactic, Mel meets up with Louise and tries to get as much information from her as possible.
Mel even tricks Louise into inviting her back to the Mitchell house, where she takes the opportunity to snoop around. Will Mel be rumbled when Sharon catches her at the house?
Meanwhile, Phil is determined to contact Ben and seeks answers from Jay.
Elsewhere, Jay is still struggling over the loss of Abi – especially when he receives her coffin plaque at work.
Also today, Masood meets a woman called Noor, who Mariam wants to set him up with. Will their date be a success?
Finally, Patrick and Ted go head-to-head in a chess match, while Billy panics about having to admit his tax mishap when he hears that Les Coker is due to pay a visit next week.

So Jay gets some aftermath of Abi's death but her father, sister, uncle and Dot don't? What is this show anymore.
Why have they brought Masood back? No offence to the actor but the character is unfunny and pointless.

EastEnders' Johnny Carter finds himself under pressure next week when he gets drawn into the drama surrounding the missing heist money.
Johnny (Ted Reilly) faces some difficult questions from fearsome Aidan Maguire, who's still determined to find out who has the missing cash.
Last week, the Carters managed to stay in the Queen Vic thanks to an expensive ring that Halfway had stolen on the day of the heist.
In Monday's episode, we'll see that the Carters are still celebrating their unexpected victory – but the jovial atmosphere comes to an end when Aidan (Patrick Bergin) gets suspicious.
Targeting Johnny, a stern Aidan questions how his family managed to find the money in time. Will a scared Johnny reveal the truth to Aidan?

The great Mickey Mouse gangster plot: I can't help thinking that the Eastenders production team looked at the way the Pat Phelan story is ruining Coronation Street and said, "Hey! We can wreck Eastenders just as well as them!"

Is Johnny's exit soon?
The most interesting thing about this week seems to be the DNA test. Making Kim and Denise not sisters seemed pointless and ridiculous, so at least Yorke might be about to correct something.
I was wondering if they might make them half sisters sharing the same father instead (or cousins since I read that Emerald said that their uncle brought Denise home.)
Probably setting the bar too high here and they'll just show Emerald up as a liar who said it to cause trouble.
EastEnders will reveal the location of the missing heist money in tonight’s episode, the soap has confirmed.
Since gangster Aidan Maguire gathered Walford’s baddest boys (and Keanu Taylor) to pull off a robbery on New Year’s Day, only for the money they were stealing to go missing, the mystery of what happened to the cash has dominated the storylines.
Last night there were further clues pointing to the possibility that Phil and Sharon Mitchell have the haul, or at least know where it is, but could that be a red herring?

This evening’s edition will tell us who’s hiding the heist booty, with Mel Owen on the case to find it before she’s framed by the Mitchells to distract Aidan from discovering Ben’s bungled attempt at taking it.
As Ciara Maguire applies the pressure, Mel’s on a mission as she meets up with her old mate Lisa Fowler’s daughter Louise and invites herself round to Phil’s on the pretence of catching up with the kid she’s known all her life.
Alone in the house Mrs Owen snoops around, but is caught in the act when Sharon returns and demands to know what she’s up to…
Is this the moment the money is found? Or are there further twists until the audience is put out of its misery?
Don’t miss tonight’s episode where all be (finally) be revealed at 8pm on BBC1…

Can't wait....zzzzzzzzz......
ciara has no heavies to take on aidan's heavies and get the stolen money back except mel
EastEnders has finally revealed who took the money from the heist – Sharon Mitchell.
After weeks of accusations among Aidan Maguire and his gang, the riddle was resolved when Sharon confessed to Mel Owen, who was convinced Phil was hiding the haul, that she had taken the money right under her husband’s nose.
The motive was explained as Sharon wanting to protect her own interests while Phil shut her out of his criminal activities and focused on feathering his offsprings’ nests rather than ensure his wife and stepson were properly looked after.
While the twist finally put the audience out of its misery, and placed the women of Walford back on top (about time too, we’d had enough of macho Aidan’s Tarantino-esque antics as he wagged his finger at a load of blokes in dimly-lit rooms), there are still some burning questions hanging in the air…
Is Ciara actually Steve Owen’s sister?
Mel shed more light on the enigmatic Ciara Maguire when she told Sharon that Aidan’s ex was her sister-in-law. So who’s the sibling that links them? Is Ciara the secret sister of Steve Owen? Married to Mel’s vicar brother Alex? Or did Mel remarry in the intervening years?
What did Mel do to Ciara?
If Ciara’s faaaaamily, how come she’s holding Mel’s son Hunter hostage, who must be her sort-of nephew? When quizzed by Shaz about her relationship with Ciara, Mel wouldn’t be drawn. What’s the story between the Owens and the Maguires?
When did Sharon take the money?
Ben took it from the Arches, then packed it and boarded a boat bound for Calais, then it was gone. So at some point before Ben’s moonlight flit his stepmum sneaked in and swiped it. Was that the night Phil’s son left? Or was she hiding out on the ferry and did it while Ben was buying duty free?
How did Phil call Ben when he threw his phone into the sea?
Phil grabbed Jay’s phone and called his son, but didn’t Ben chuck his mobile in the English Channel as he made his fresh start in France? Did he dive down and retrieve it? He probably got a new phone, but with so many red herrings we need clarification on his new price plan. Was he eligible for a handset upgrade?
Why did Sharon let Mick get tortured?
When her husband was kidnapped by Aidan’s heavies and whisked off to be tortured somewhere, to whom did Linda turn? Her bestie, Sharon, who let L have a nervous breakdown while she feared for Mick’s life when she had the money all along. What kind of mate does that?
Where is the money now?
It’s not the in the safe. And there can’t be many places Aidan hasn’t scoured in the last few weeks in his endless search for the stash. So what’s Sharon done with it? Put it in the attic with her demo tapes from The Banned and her vacuum-packed fluffy pink jumpers?
Is Phil in on it?
This is (perhaps deliberately) slightly unclear – yesterday Phil implied he knew who had the money when he told Sharon he hoped Aidan never found out the truth, “’Cos it’d be a bloodbath.” But Sharon’s independent woman speech to Mel suggests he’s in the dark too, and his worry for Ben certainly backs that up.
Will Mel betray Sharon?
The blondes bonded over being single mums to kids from dead dads (that sounds like a fun support group waiting to be formed) and seemed pretty pally by the time Sharon came clean, but can she really trust Mel? Who’s to say the gangster’s widow doesn’t have her own agenda that involves shopping Shazza?
How will they put Aidan off the scent?
Aidan’s given Phil 10 days to find the money (has Patrick Bergin gone back to Hollywood for a holiday?) but the menacing man in the hat will be back – so what happens then? Sharon and Mel team up and concoct a ****-and-bull story?
How did Sharon get her hands on all those back issues of the Walford Gazette?
Of all the questions, this is the biggest: when Ben popped open the case at Calais customs the banknotes had been replaced with stacks of newspapers. Where did Sharon find so many copies of the Walford Gazette at short notice? Did she mug Bernadette Taylor during her paper round?
