View Full Version : EastEnders Spoilers 22nd - 26th January 2018
EastEnders has revealed a first look at the moment that Phil Mitchell and Mel Owen come face-to-face again.
When Phil (Steve McFadden) finally comes out of hiding later this month, he hears the news that Mel is back in Walford – and it doesn't take long before she pops up to speak with him in person.
Phil is taken by surprise when he returns home one afternoon to find Mel (Tamzin Outhwaite) waiting for him.
The Albert Square hardman is already concerned over the mysterious departure of his son Ben, but he quickly realises that Mel may have some crucial information to share.
Will Phil find out about Mel's secret connection to Aidan's ex-wife Ciara, and will he discover what's happened to Ben too?

The men involved in the New Year heist finally come out of hiding. Phil starts to realise that Ben is involved in the missing money and quizzes Jay over what's been going on. Tensions soon rise between Aidan's men, with Mick accusing Aidan of double-crossing everyone and taking the money for himself.
Phil is left with a new lead when Billy tells him about Mel's unexpected return to Walford. Phil realises that Mel must be chasing the money and starts to worry about Ben's safety.
Meanwhile, Mick promises his family that he'll have the money to keep them in The Vic by the end of the week.
Elsewhere, Stacey returns to Albert Square but ends up in another argument with Martin when he accuses her of visiting Max again. Stacey denies it, but the argument escalates further and she slaps him. In response, Martin kicks Stacey out.
Also today, Johnny tells his family that he's been offered a new job which would involve moving away, while Tiffany plays matchmaker between Whitney and Halfway.
Tuesday
Martin refuses to let Stacey see the children, but he finally sees sense when one of the kids finds themselves in a potentially dangerous situation.
Although Stacey hopes that Martin is finally ready to forgive her, she soon realises the reality is very different and is left out in the cold again. Martin tells Bex that he's prepared to fight for his kids.
Meanwhile, Mel visits Phil and reveals what's been going on with her own son. As a result, the pair realise they'll have to work together for the sake of their children. After discussing everything, they realise they need to start their efforts by investigating Mick, since he was the most desperate for the money.
Elsewhere, Keegan loses control at school.
Also today, Whitney and Halfway decide to make the most of their date after being set up by Tiffany, while Masood has to come clean to Arshad about his job after Kush lets the truth slip.
Thursday
Mick and Linda need to pay Fi by tomorrow, but they still don't have the money they need to stay in The Vic.
Mick resorts to desperate measures by asking Vincent for help, but the Carters later have to face up to the fact that they won't have the funds on time. Is it all over for them at the pub?
Meanwhile, how will Whitney and Halfway get along when they sit down for a date at The Vic?
Elsewhere, Kush and Sonia try to get Stacey and Martin back on better terms by orchestrating a meeting, but it ends in another huge argument. Angry over the way they're behaving, Kush gives Stacey and Martin some home truths over the impact that a custody battle would have.
Also today, Bernadette tries to help her mum with some of the customers' ironing, but ends up burning Ted's shirts.
Friday
It's the Carters' final day in the pub and they pack up their belongings.
Mick is still trying to do everything he can to find the money they need at the eleventh hour, but will it be enough to keep his family in the Queen Vic?
Meanwhile, Martin finally agrees to let Stacey see the children, but is the drama between them anywhere near over?
Elsewhere, Ted agrees to let Karen compensate for the ruined laundry, rather than complaining to her boss. However, Karen soon has to admit that she can't afford the money.

EastEnders kicks off a new romance for Whitney Carter next week as she goes on a date with newcomer 'Halfway' Highway.
The BBC soap introduced Lee's old friend Halfway (Tony Clay) earlier this month when he was unveiled as the mystery shooter who injured Mick.
Halfway has been residing with the Carters ever since, but his luck looks set to get even better in upcoming scenes when he lands himself a date with Whitney.
The pair find themselves thrown together unexpectedly thanks to Whitney's scheming sister Tiffany – who is convinced they'd make a perfect match.

After pretending to take Whitney out for lunch, Tiffany's true motives are revealed when she leaves her sibling alone with Halfway in a bid to get them to bond.
It doesn't take Whitney and Halfway long to realise they've been set up on a date, but they decide to stay and get to know each other better anyway.
Remarkably, it seems that Tiffany's match-making might have paid off when Halfway later offers to take Whitney out on a proper date.
As Halfway prepares for his date with Whitney in The Vic, Linda is more than happy to help him pull out all the stops to make it the perfect evening.

Whitney soon arrives to find a romantic set-up at the pub, but how will the pair get on? And is this the start of a new romance?
Show boss John Yorke did recently tease that Whitney would be getting a new love interest this year, so it's looking likely...
