View Full Version : Sam ahd Chrissie-MAJOR SPOILER
Sorry I can't see this posted anywhere. This was in The Sun today.
EASTENDERS' Sam Mitchell will be arrested for murdering Den after Chrissie pins the blame on her. Sam saw Chrissie (Tracy-Ann Oberman) killing hubbie Den (Leslie Grantham) at the Queen Vic and has blackmailed the land-lady ever since. But Chrissie gets revenge when the net closes in by framing Sam (Kim Medcalf). A BBC insider said: "Sam was playing a very dangerous game. Sam is arrested during Dennis and Sharon's wedding. You will have to wait and see if she is charged"
How come people are always arrested during the wedding. That could be how the body is found on the wedding day.

I dont think she is going to die
When does who die?
Sam
look at thread called spoilers it says either sam or chrissie will die, and the door is being left open for chrissie to return so that means sam will die
source??
at the top 'the sun' :)
what a brillinat few episodes this will be
sharon's wedding
maybe a return of a mitchell or jake
dens body being discoverd
sam being framed
no wonder the webcams are having censored filming!!!
god didn't know that will go read just now thanks Mr Bond
neither leave until november so there is still a bit of action following sams arrest
it looks like my script "banged to rights" may actually becoming true! :rotfl:
Yeah i was going to say that before lol - Go on Mr Bond you can tell us. Your really a ee script writer and everything you post on here is true
I can’t wait for this. Its going to make some brilliant television and I’m confident that this is true because on webcam yesterday (George street) there was a police car parked right out side Sam’s flat.
Its going be one hell of a wedding! I cant wait for it
Great stuff!
I'm guessing that this will prompt the Mitchells to return, knowing that Sam is in serious trouble.
Chrissie is also leaving but I bet Sharon will find out everything at some point though.

ohhh!!!!:cheer:
If this is true then it's awful! How can they send the delectable Samantha down over trout lips? She is innocent I say and I will be wearing a "Free The Walford One T-shirt". I'm writing to Tony Blair too. If Dreary Chicken neck can get on the news in Corrie so can my Sam who has been framed I say framed.
If she gets sent down, you just watch me go down to Elstree to protest against this utter dross!
What a ridiculous and utterly ghastly storyline!

i can understand your anger, dosent say much for justice does it, but i would prefer her to go down than chrissie
I love the storyline
I'm not saying that Sam deserves it but its a fantastic twist. Loads of people protested over Mathew Rose' innocence but it still goes down as one of the classic ee storylines ever.
I have no doubt that it will make some great TV.
I do think justice will be served in the end. This is just a plot twist.
yeah chrissie will be behind bars in no time
I don't. Chrissie will go on the run etc. I still don't see how she can frame Sam because Sam wasn't even working there that night and the police will know Sam doesn't have the strength to bury someone on her own. Plus it's Chrissie's pub and Chrissie would ask questions like why did Sam feel the need to fill the drain hole up with rubble when the workmen could just have done that before cementing over it?
yeah chrissie will be behind bars in no time
Maybe, maybe not. Afterall the door is left open for her character. I think the Mitchells and Sharon will have thier own revenge lined up for her.
It could just be on forensic evidence remember the murder weapon, still covered in blood, stayed in sams house for a very long time

Sam admited to the whole pub that she was in the pub the day that Den disapeared.
Chrissie is a very sharp women. I'm guessing that she will have this one planned very well.
So long as she doesn't go to jail as Kim Medcalf and come out as Daniella Westbrook! I think it would be great if Sam went down and Chrissie got off scot free and went on the run..

Yes Chrissie is very cunning...
Chrissie's hands were also on the doorstop as were Zoe's.
If Sharon and the Mitchells think Sam killed Den then they won't dish out the punches and the beatings to Chrissie.
I'm wondering if they will find the murder weapon? will den have a scotty dog's face indented on his head??
Chrissie's hands were also on the doorstop as were Zoe's.
yeah but chrissie has an excuse...the doorstop was in her pub and she took it back to paulines...so her hands would be on it for an innocent reason
Chrissie knows what shes doing i reckon shes had it all planned from the start.
I just don't think the police could overlook the fact it's Chrissie's pub and Chrissie doesn't have an alibi for the rest of the night after leaving the club. She was with Zoe who isn't even in the country and Sam who won't back her up.

she could convince Jake to give her an alabi...oh no she couldnt tough could she!!!! becuase he already has given one for andy's death...damn! um well im sure he will worm her way out of it somehow
shell find a way knowing chrissie. She managed to keep her dead hubbie under a pub without any one finding out.
But Jakey would...
jackey would what?
I'm sure that Chrissie has covered pretty much every angle of it.
As for the ploice they are sure to question her and she will be a suspect but it all boils down to evidence and if most is pointing to Sam, then she will be the prime suspect. It will boil down to Chrissie's word against Sams.
The door stop is bound to have Chrissie's fingers prints on it though as it was in the pub on the day. Its bound to have loads of peoples prints on it.
jakey would what?
Provide her with an alibi.

You may be right. I could see him doing something like that and seeing that he is returning in Autumn he may well come back to help her out.

Provide her with an alibi.
He can't - he already told the police he was at the club on the night of Den's/Andy's death. I suppose he could say he saw her there or something, but no else would have so...
But if he's giving Chrissie an alibi and Sam convinces her brothers of her innocence then poor Jakey is going to end up in hospital being fed through a straw.
You may be right. I could see him doing something like that and seeing that he is returning in Autumn he may well come back to help her out.
Jakey will be shocked at first and may even take it badly but he'll be there in her time of need and maybe this is where they kiss and make up so to speak. He'l think of a way to get her off the hook, afterall he is a thinker and talks his way out of things..
Provide her with an alibi.
he cnat!!!! he already had to give one to police for andys death!!!! and it didnt involve chrissie!!!
He can't say Chrissie didn't leave the club though because his alibi would be rubbished. Stacey saw all three girls heading for the door.
But if he's giving Chrissie an alibi and Sam convinces her brothers of her innocence then poor Jakey is going to end up in hospital being fed through a straw.
He could always enlist Dennis' help..but that will be an interesting one the Mitchells protecting Sa, Jakey protecting Chrissie..um..good viewing

Although Dennis hates Phil. Sharon will always try to keep as much mutual peace with the Mitchell clan as possible.

In my own opinion I'm sure of it.
Although Dennis hates Phil. Sharon will always try to keep as much mutual peace with the Mitchell clan as possible.
True but didn't Phil turn onher before he left. He slapped her didn't he?
Phil has a score to settle with Dennis. So would Sharon be able to do this, keep the peace between them all?
Sharon will always be friends with Phil though mutually.
If Sharon thinks that Sam killed her Dad then she will be last person keeping peace with the Mitchells. I can see her coming to blows with Peggy straight away!!!

If Sharon gets the idea into her head (from Chrissie) that Sam killed Den, she is very likely to believe it. She doesn't like the Mitchells much anyway so it wold seem an easy answer - Sam was conned out of the Vic by Den, so wanted revenge. This is probably why the police arrest Sam - Sharon will feel that Sam almost certainly committed the murder. Sharon knows that Zoe, Sam and Chrissie were there that night. She wouldn't think that Zoe was up to killing someone and she wouldn't think that Chrissie killed her own husband.
Surely even Sharon would question Sam's capability though?
Surely even Sharon would question Sam's capability though?
true but if the police arrest her and the finger is pointing in her direction she will most likely beleive that Sam was responsibal and considering how manipulative Chrissie is, she can easily confirm Sharons anxieties and fears -that it was Sam who did it. Chrissie has a way with her words.
Sharon will want to blame some one after what happened and if its Sam, then shall be it. She has no reason to trust her.

omg
This really wouldn't work because Chrissie supposedly had that phonecall from Den which a packed Queen Vic heard and someone's bound to question that.
They will know when the cement was laid etc...
Plus Chrissie never reported Den missing and lied about him running off with another women. Plus if it comes out that Chrissie knew then she would go down as an accessory anyways. It's HER pub and there's no way she can get off with this.
I think Sam will be arrested and Chrissie will flee in a panic then Sam won't say anything and it will conspire that there isn't enough evidence to charge her so Sam will return and then decide to leave. This is the best possible theory and it also gives the pair of them a chance to return in the future.
That is if the police don't suddenly turn their attention to Chrissie.
There's no way they would charge Sam though not with all the evidence against the charge and pointing to Chrissie.
I agree about the first point. I have no idea how she is going to get herself out of that one.
As for Den though, I don't think there was any need for her to report him missing in the first place because all he did was leave his wife and ran off. It happens everyday. If they were still together and then out of the blue he just went then there would be a need to alarm the police.
When they cemented his body, she can get herself out of that one too. It may sound absurd how she did not know that he was buried there underneath her home all this time, but hypothetically, it can happen. After all the hole was already there and all Sam had to do was chuck him in. If the builders didn't see his body when they cemented it, why should Chrissie?
I think Sam will be arrested but I doubt she will get charged for it.

The first point alone is enough. They will know when the cement was laid and the phonecall happened AFTERWARDS.
The body wasn't just chucked in the hole. The hole was filled in with rubble so that nobody could see the body, then the workmen who were supposed to put the rubble back in themselves would have cemented over it but instead they just cemented over the rubble because it had already been placed back into the hole.
Chrissie would have asked Sam why she saw the need to do that? (Put the rubble into the hole)

Chrissie would have asked Sam why she saw the need to do that? (Put the rubble into the hole)
Just like the builders asked Chrissie why'd she'd put the rubble in the hole?
I must admit, I don't see how Chrissie will manage to get off completely. She may be able to pin the murder on Sam, but I can't think of how she'll be able to claim complete innocence. She must at least be accused of being an accessory.
I think Sam will be arrested and keep quiet and Chrissie will run off then there isn't enough credible evidence to charge Sam so she will get out and then decide to leave.
im a bit confused! so the door has been left open for chrissie to return but what about sam? i thought one of them had to die or did i get that wrong? if so sam must die.....
I have never heard them say both have to die.
Or rather read about them saying...
I haven't heard anything about either of them dying
i havent either. I think its going to be a great departure storyline when chriisie leaves whatever happens.

Well you don't know whether she will be returning and secondly he's left to save himself and Danny so she'd be doing the same. Leaving to save herself. You don't know that if all the Square finds out what's happened they'll just be all eyes on her all the time...even Jake.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nooooo
I can't wait to see the back of Chrissie now she's going to do this to Sam.
I don’t agree with what she's doing but personally I want her to stay for as long as possible. She is the only female I can think of right now who has so many traits to her and has that manipulation streak that no other female currently has or matches up to. She is a break from the norm and simply unique. She is sharp and conniving and we need someone like that on the show. I’ll admit I do find her dislikeable at times and given next weeks spoilers, that may increase but to me she still goes down as one of the most fascinating females on ee. I would love for her to come back one day in the future. She is brilliant to watch, good or bad.
Well her character was ruined the minute they boxed her into a corner by having her kill off Den.

I'm actually beginning to agree. I just wanted her to tell Jake and put a stop to everything. I know TAO will play out the last scenes brilliantly but this isn't what I wanted for the character. I know Chrissie is one of the stronger woman characters in the Sqaure but I'd much prefer to have that chucked out the window and keep her as a vunerable character than watch her get more and more mad!

Sam should have killed Den because she was already leaving. It was quite good that Chrissie did the deed but it did her character no favours in the end because she had to leave. The new production team probably wanted to get rid of this storyline hanging over the show/The Vic otherwise it could have gone on forever so they probably thought we're going to have to have Den discovered and hence Chrissie would be finished. It just wasn't planned enough.
squarelady
10-07-2005, 09:43
They just wanted to get rid of Den and Chrissie was the obvious character to do it. That was obvious but the blackmail storylines were a mistake. If her and Sam had stuck together from the start this wouldn't have happened because they'd be no back stabbing.
Then again I loved Chrissie slapping people and being punched and we would have missed that. They were some of the best episodes!
I really would do anything to keep TAO because the show (for me at least) will be so wierd without her!
Well tbh the storyline would have had to have reached an end eventually. It just couldn't continue to hang over the show. I personally think John Yorke would have hated it and knew he had to get rid of it.
squarelady
10-07-2005, 09:49
That's fair enough, you have to tie it up. It's just a shame we have to lose TAO in the process because I can't see them bringing in another character quite like her.

Hers! She begged them. Probably wanted to be remembered and no doubt she will be but it gave her character a shelf life and took away so many potential Chrissie storylines for the future. There's limited direction with this hanging over her.
squarelady
10-07-2005, 09:59
I doubt she literally begged them. She was the obvious choice for the storyline.
There could have been other options. One of the other two witches could have delivered the fatal blow and there's probably a list of suspects who were waiting to bump off Den a mile long somewhere the way he lived his life.
squarelady
10-07-2005, 10:04
Yer, but I doubt think the storyline would have been half as good if that had happened.
That's true! But it would have saved Chrissie and wouldn't have boxed her in. TAO knew Den was to be discovered and she instantly knew she would have to leave.
squarelady
10-07-2005, 10:15
Yep, but she's had a year and a half of an amazing character and met some really good new friends so I'm sure it's been worth it for her. I wouldn't have turned that storyline down!
She didn't have to be the killer though. She could still have been invovled in the storyline.

It's not a case of her being happy to leave though. It honestly looks like she had no choice but to leave. If it had been the Berridge era credibility didn't matter anyways so there wouldn't have been a problem.
squarelady
10-07-2005, 15:32
She has had talks and decided it's best for the character to go. That doesn't necessarily mean she's not happy about leaving. She did some amazing stuff before Eastenders and this just gives her the chance to do alot more. You're right there wasn't much of a choice but you could see that coming. It's not like she's been axed.
I know she hasn't been axed but when Den was discovered that was when her life in Walford (Chrissie's) had to end for credibility purposes. TAO may be happy to go or she may have agreed mutually to go but at the end of the day if Den's discovery hadn't have been for a bit longer than she would have probably liked to have stayed or atleast completed her contract.
squarelady
10-07-2005, 15:35
Yer, I never denied that! :)
Therefore she shouldn't have been the killer :)
squarelady
10-07-2005, 15:37
Yer, I said that a couple of pages back. But at the same time I can see why she didn't turn the storyline down.
I know it just makes me mad that they boxed her into a corner, without killing Den she was still a strong character who could manipulate.
