Monday (1)

Eileen is unnerved when she receives a call from Anna, begging her to visit again. When Tim and Gary reveal that Anna's court case may be postponed as Seb has done a runner, Faye is worried sick about him, as is Eileen when she overhears. As Eileen sets off in her car, Phelan watches and his suspicions are aroused.

At the prison, Eileen struggles to hide her unease as Anna quizzes her about Seb. Anna warns Eileen to watch her back as Phelan will turn on her one day.

Meanwhile, Gary asks Sarah why she's ignoring his texts. She's bemused, having not received them. Sarah is taken aback as Bethany admits she's been deleting Gary's texts as she's better off without him.

Later, Beth tries to talk to Craig about his relationship with Bethany, but he continually looks at his watch. Beth is troubled by his odd behaviour. Soon afterwards, Craig and Jess are called to a disturbance at a lap dancing club. Bethany, in lap dancing gear, is horrified to see Craig.

Elsewhere, Eva confides in Shona that she's not been feeling well. Shona googles Eva's symptoms and shows her the result. Eva is stunned.

Also, Leanne takes a call from the school, informing her that Simon is in trouble. A furious Leanne tells Peter how he's been excluded for selling vodka at school, which he stole from the pub.


Monday (2)

The manager suggests Craig should talk to their new dancer, Maddison, as she was working close to where the incident took place. Craig is stunned to discover that 'Maddison' is none other than Bethany.

Craig listens in disbelief as Bethany explains that she enjoys working as a lap dancer as it gives her a sense of power over men. Craig is appalled, but Bethany tells him that if he can't accept her job, then it's over between them.

Meanwhile, Shona calls in the pub and discreetly hands Eva a pregnancy kit. Having given Adam the brush off, Eva pulls out the test. She's horrified to see that it's positive.

Elsewhere, Eileen pays Alya a visit and tentatively quizzes her about Luke's relationship with Phelan. Unknowingly Alya says enough to put Eileen off the scent. Quietly relieved and now convinced of Phelan's innocence, Eileen threatens to report Anna when she phones again.

Also, Peter and Leanne row over Simon's behaviour. Toyah is shocked to hear he's been stealing vodka and wonders if he was responsible for the missing bottle at Christmas. Peter is forced to admit it was he who was tempted to drink. Toyah's shaken.

Finally, Sean makes samples for Aidan.


Wednesday (1)

Anna calls Gary from prison and tells him that Eileen has taken Phelan's side again, so her only hope is Seb. Having been tipped off by Nicola, Gary finds Abi and Seb in a café. Gary implores Seb to help Anna, but Seb is scared witless. Seb reveals that Phelan killed Luke and he's worried he could be next.

Stunned, Gary reports Phelan to the police for the murder of Luke. Eileen's suspicions are reignited as the police take Phelan in for questioning.

Meanwhile, Toyah confides in Eva that she's not just angry about the vodka, but Peter has been acting strangely for weeks and she reckons he's hiding something. Later on, Eva goes for a dating scan. She's in shock as she tells Shona that she's 17 weeks pregnant, but who is the daddy?

Elsewhere, Craig calls at the lap dancing club and interrupts Bethany mid-dance, telling her that he's reached a decision.

Also, as Billy works with his physio, he's told he can go home tomorrow. However, Billy is sad that he has nothing to go home to. Eileen reveals that Todd's been in touch with Jason to say he and Summer are fine.

Finally, as Sean hands over the lingerie samples to Aidan, he's horrified to see they've been deliberately damaged. Hope tells Sean that Ruby was responsible.


Wednesday (2)

The police question Phelan, who lies that he was alone at Number 11 when Luke was shot. Back at home, Phelan tells Eileen it was just a routine enquiry. Relieved, Eileen confesses she had her fears, as Seb told her he murdered Luke. She admits searching for a gun and going to see Anna in prison. Phelan is furious.

Smarting over Eileen's lack of trust, Phelan suggests he'll move into Billy's flat so a convalescing Billy can stay with Eileen. Eileen asks Adam and Eva to help with Billy's care until he's mobile. Adam agrees through gritted teeth.

At the same time, having summoned Seb, Gary locks him in Tim's cab, imploring him to testify at Anna's hearing and tell the court the truth about Phelan. Will Seb agree?

Meanwhile, Eva confides in Shona that she's not sure she's ready for a baby. Eva calls in the pub with the intention of sharing her news with Leanne, but Simon's behaviour proves too much of a distraction.

Elsewhere, as Craig leaves the club, a worried Bethany makes him promise not to breathe a word to her family. Sarah confides in Craig that she's worried about Bethany. Craig suppresses the urge to tell her the truth, but assures Sarah he'll look after her.

Also, when Tyrone finds out about Sean's ruined samples, he demands to know what's going on. Hope blames Ruby, who denies any involvement. Tyrone confides in Sean that this is just the latest incident involving Ruby and he's at his wits' end.


Friday (1)

Anna's trial begins and Phelan is called as the first witness. Lying through his teeth, Phelan paints Anna to be the villain, making out that she pushed Seb off his ladder. Anna looks at him with pure hatred.

Seb is next up in the witness box, but will he go against Phelan?

Meanwhile, Sarah wishes Gary luck and hopes Anna's court case goes well. Bethany is unimpressed and when Sarah asks her to babysit so she can meet Gary for a drink, Bethany lies, telling her she can't as she's working at a Mexican restaurant.

Elsewhere, Gemma is thrilled when she wins a night in a hotel and can't wait to tell Henry. However, he dampens her spirits, making out it's his birthday and he has a family gathering.

Also, when Toyah overhears Carla reminiscing about old times with Peter, she's consumed with jealousy and decides it's time she engaged her enemy. But when Michelle overhears Toyah telling Leanne that she can't stand Carla and is only pretending to be friends so she can keep an eye on her, a row ensues.

Finally, Billy is discharged from hospital. Geraldine accosts him on the doorstep, but Billy sticks to his story that he's heard nothing from Todd and Summer.


Friday (2)

Intent on putting a stop to any future relationship between Sarah and Gary, Bethany forms a plan with the help of her lap-dancing mate Sam.

When Sarah arrives at The Rovers to find a girl draped all over Gary, will she fall for Bethany's sting?

Meanwhile, Peter assures Toyah there's nothing going on between him and Carla. Later, Billy approaches Peter hoping they can bury the hatchet. Will Peter agree?

Also, Billy is clearly in pain at The Rovers and wishes it was time for his painkillers. Adam takes note of his desperation.

Coming up on Coronation Street, nasty Henry Newton struggles to maintain the pretence that he's fallen head over heels for Gemma Winter.

Henry's true colours were revealed to viewers this week, as it was confirmed that he's only dating Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) as part of a cruel bet that he's made with his mates.

The schemer has been tasked with making Gemma fall for him, but his mask seems to be slipping when he can't muster up any enthusiasm for spending time with her.

When Gemma shares the good news that she's won a night in a hotel for the two of them, Henry (George Banks) makes out that he can't attend because it's his birthday and he has a family gathering to attend.

Later on, a moping Gemma starts making her own plans for Henry's birthday, so Liz McDonald suggests that she should throw him a surprise party at The Rovers.

Liz reckons it's the perfect way to celebrate Henry's family history running the Newton & Ridley brewery, but is Gemma just asking for trouble if she takes the idea on board?
