Richard Crehan has reprised his role as heroin addict Lee, the brother of Billy

Coronation Street is bringing back Billy Mayhew's drug addict brother Lee as the vicar's story takes another dark turn.

Daniel Brocklebank – who plays Billy – was pictured shooting an episode with Richard Crehan, who plays his troubled sibling.

Fans were first introduced to Lee last year when he caused a number of problems on the Cobbles in a desperate bid for cash to feed his addiction.

The brothers will be reunited again in upcoming scenes when an injured Billy arranges to meet Lee at his local church in the midst of a very desperate time for him.

Billy is certainly looking very downtrodden in these pictures, but viewers will have to wait and see what brings Lee back into his life again.

Has the truth about Susan Barlow finally come to light? Is Billy at his lowest ebb following Todd's exit? Or has someone from the vicar's dark past caught up with him?

We'll have to and wait and see for the time being, but we do know that a shock accident appears to be on the way for Billy, thanks to previous pap pics of him in a wheelchair.

Billy appears to be rid of the wheelchair in the most recent shots – sporting crutches instead – but the cause of his injuries is anyone's guess right now.
