What in EE are they showing now then on UK Gold?

Dennis has just killed Dalton (last week sometime) and Laura had her baby last Friday and Lynn left Garry because he was with her at the time

decided to give it a glance this morning and how suprised i am,i'm going to watch every morning now,the writing is far better than what we are getting now,Louise berridge should be proud ,the interaction between dot and pauline is great ,paul, janine and barry triangle, the ferrera wedding is taking place, always thought they were boring but not today, infact the interaction and writing is far better than what we have seen in the last two years,oh nd martins got his weed farm going, all in all a good mixture of the drama and dry humour EE was famous for

I'm not watching at the moment. I read on another board that the Ferraira kidney storyline has just started, so I won't be watching for a while.

yeah at the moment its the Ferrerias kidney storyline! snoozefest! But it made me laugh yesterday when Kat and Alfie were arguing over tidying the house and Kat made lunch and Alfie didnt turn up on time so she messed up his egg yolk and all Alfie cared about was his egg! lol I do love Kat and Alfie! EastEnders was far better with them in!

Poo poo I completely forgot that was on at around the same time. That means the "Yes, upstairs is on top of downstairs, I know," was today. I have it on tape but I've lost it, and anyway, my video player is broken. :(

The brilliant and exceptional cardboard funfair disaster is being shown again on EE tomorrow on UKTV Gold! :D

Ah yes, that absolute classic, up there with Den and Angie, baby Hassan's cot death, Sharongate.....

Chris_2k11
18-06-2007, 00:12
Nothing in 2004 will go down as a classic but it was a better year than 2006 imo.

watching these episodes i have to say the comedy is still there. its not great but still better than some of the crap we get these days. some good lines from ian, andy and sam. "10 minutes on that desk and shes like a kitten on prozac!" :D made me laugh!

callummc
02-07-2007, 22:51
have to agree with you chris, what we are getting today is barely watchable at all,2004 was far better,2005 wasn't as good either but was watchable

DaVeyWaVey
02-07-2007, 23:13
I thought 2005 was a brilliant year for EE. I really enjoyed Den's death storyline and Chrissie Watts was a great character in my opinion.

2006 was a fairly average year, but better than 2004 in my opinion. No doubt UK Gold will probably rewind after they've finished showing EE episodes from 2006.

stick a bit of 2001 on and you wont get me away from the tele  2006 and you won't get me near it :thumbsdow

Kim
08-08-2007, 22:10
2004 is really annoying me at the moment. It's not worth getting up at 8am for, lol! I definitely wouldn't bother to watch the 2006 repeats.

Whereabouts are they up to now kim?

thestud2k7
09-08-2007, 00:53
today was the dull two hander with den and dot

can they rewind to the 1990s please

Kim
09-08-2007, 01:07
I got so unbelievably bored watching that from quarter past to twenty two that I thought the Ferraira's kidney saga had returned to haunt us, lol!

Rewinding to 2000 would suit me fine.

DaVeyWaVey
09-08-2007, 21:09
I wish UKGold would rewind back to the start..

thestud2k7
09-08-2007, 21:10
yes i want that too
but they lost the rights to the early years

DaVeyWaVey
09-08-2007, 21:18
That's a real shame. I must say UKGold has lost its shine now - all the shows are endless repeats and the shows they do show are far too recent. I wouldn't say they show any "gold" anymore..

thestud2k7
10-08-2007, 00:38
i say we rename it uktv today :D

Kim
10-08-2007, 01:00
I'm guessing I didn't miss much today then. It can either do that or fast forward quite substantially.

Richie_lecturer

That's a great shame because there's so much brilliant material that is just going to gather dust in a vault somewhere.

I never saw it the first time round but the Real Walford storyline is pityfull. Took up far too much of todays episode and was as boring as hell.

DaVeyWaVey
15-10-2007, 19:14
What episodes are they up to now? Was Real Walford that football team they made up? I can faintly remember it i think.

Kim
14-12-2007, 18:41
Yeah that was the football team, Dave. It was after Little Mo had come back and Billy was supposed to be the manager but they weren't happy and got Keith to manage it instead, using Ghengis and various other methods in order to distract their opponents during play.

I assume they're up to early 2005 now, but I don't know for sure. I meant to catch an episode the other day while I was off due to study leave, but I didn't get up in time.

Chris_2k11
14-12-2007, 19:45
Have they had the xmas '04 ep yet? even though 2004 was a pretty crappy year for the show, i still thought that episode was brilliant.

Xx-Vicky-xX
26-03-2008, 10:43
Bit late but just in case anyone is wondering, the episodes are when Kat came back in 2005 at the moment, though Kim told me this morning they missed a whole week worth of episodes

Chris_2k11
27-03-2008, 22:40
ohhh bad times have started

Kim
27-03-2008, 23:18
Vicks did you catch it today? Have they gone back to fill in or put an apology on before it or something? They've missed an odd episode here and there, but a week is ridiculous.

Yep i watch it every morning now i have sky in my room - no they never went back to fill in what they missed and it wasnt mentioned so basically anyone who relies on UKGold to see this because they missed it when it was shown the the BBC will be very confused because one day Mo & Alfie had just got together, and Ruby had gone off to find Tina the day after Kat was already back and Ruby had gone back to bording school and Tina was back with Johnny - talk about confused

Such bad acting at the moment with this Demi/Leo storyline especially him, totally wooden! the Den stuff is good but thats about it.

Chris_2k11
30-06-2008, 15:12
has anyone been watching lately, Fridays was the classic episode where Peggy pushed Chrissie in Den's grave "Chrissie Watts murderer!!!"

Kim
30-06-2008, 23:09
I watched a few last week, not particularly bothered with it at the moment. I'm not desperate to see the episodes again and they're on tape somewhere. I found the funeral episode a bit of a let down to be honest; I thought Peggy would find more to call Chrissie than a murderer.
