Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden has teased a huge stunt involving the White family that could be the best the show has done.
The soap's boss Iain MacLeod has already promised a "spectacular" exit plot for the White clan, but the story is shaping up to be even bigger than we thought.
Amid the reports that several members of the Whites are leaving, Matthew – who plays David Metcalfe – said that show bosses are pulling out all the stops to ensure this is one of the best they've aired to date.
"They're filming a huge, huge stunt and it involves all the Whites and it's going to be incredible," Matthew told OK! Online.
"From what I've heard, it's going to be one of the best stunts Emmerdale has ever done. The last stunt they did with the car crash was incredible and this is going to be just as good if not better, so yeah – watch out for that."
Speaking previously about the Whites' upcoming exit, Iain said: "There's been speculation there could be a death as part of their exit story, but I don't want to reveal too much.
"We are doing something spectacular in January and the Whites will be a major part of that. It'll be one of the most intense rollercoaster months we've ever had."
