Susie Amy joins as Scarlett

Susie Amy is set to be reunited with Gary Lucy - 11 years after they starred opposite one another as husband and wife in Footballers' Wives - over the next coming months after she recently bagged a part in Hollyoaks.

Details on Susie's character are not yet known as a spokesperson for the show refused to comment when approached but, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper, the brunette beauty was spotted wandering around on the Chester set last week.

The show has cast soap newcomer Aedan Duckworth as Luke Morgan's secret son Oliver.

Oliver will join the Channel 4 show in dramatic circumstances in January – turning up with his mum Scarlett, played by Footballers' Wives star Susie Amy.
