Monday (1)

Summer is emotional as it would have been her dad's birthday.

When nobody is looking, Summer pockets a strange-looking cigarette that Simon found in the school changing rooms. However, her attempt to fit in soon goes horribly wrong.

Meanwhile, Chesney arrives for work at the kebab shop, but it's clear he's not well when he collapses.

Elsewhere, Liz warns Toyah and Peter that Tom Ridley is a tricky individual, and if he thinks they're not up to scratch, he could withdraw their beer supply.

Also, Phelan outlines his plan for Andy's replacement.


Monday (2)

Summer is found unconscious in the ginnel after smoking the cigarette. As Summer is loaded into an ambulance, Billy and Todd quiz Amy and Simon. Simon sheepishly hands them the cigarette.

Soon afterwards, Simon also admits to Peter and Toyah that he supplied Summer with the cigarette and dared her to smoke it, but never meant for her to get hurt.

Later, Peter calls at the flower shop flat and tells Billy how it was Simon who supplied Summer with the cigarette, but it was simply a prank which backfired. Billy loses his temper and flies at Peter, punching him to the ground.

Elsewhere, Cathy and a guilty Sinead keep a vigil at Chesney's hospital bed.

Also, Toyah and Peter are thrilled when they get a call from surrogate Jackie confirming she's pregnant.


Wednesday (1)

Chesney struggles to cope after some shattering news from Owen in Portugal.

As a result, Sinead looks at Chesney in a whole new light, deeply moved by his dedication to his son Joseph.

Meanwhile, Billy apologises profusely to Peter for losing his temper. Will Peter agree not to take it further? And how will Simon react when he discovers who Peter's attacker was?

Elsewhere, Mary railroads Angie into having an afternoon out with Toyah so that she can spend time with baby George. However, Mary's interference is starting to irk Angie.


Wednesday (2)

Simon reveals to Peter and Toyah how he has reported Billy's attack to social services.

A shocked Peter is quick to point out that Simon may have just scuppered Summer's chances of adoption.

Meanwhile, Daniel can't handle Sinead and Chesney's news.

Elsewhere, Mary promises Jude that from now on, she'll back off and give he and Angie some space. However, it's not enough for Angie and plans are soon made for them to leave Weatherfield again.

Also, Anna causes a rift between Phelan and Seb.


Friday (1)

Mary has asked for one last trip out with George, but she fails to return. Angie is beside herself, convinced they'll miss their flight, but Jude does his best to calm her down.

Adam then finds Mary hiding in the flower shop with George. He warns her that she'll lose her family for good if she doesn't return home.

Back at the house, Mary is sorry for her actions but everything is forgotten when Norris notices something is wrong with George and sounds the alarm. Will everything be okay?

Meanwhile, Billy struggles with his guilt after what he did.

Elsewhere, Anna tells Seb she's thought of somewhere that might have a job for him.

Also, Phelan fails to spot jeopardy lying in wait.


Friday (2)

Angie, Jude, Mary and Norris are beside themselves with worry as they wait for a doctor to see to baby George.

What will the outcome be for the youngster?

Meanwhile, when she overhears Anna telling Seb she can't do their usual time tomorrow, Faye wonders what on earth's going on.

Elsewhere, Gina embarrasses Sally at her soiree.
