little green squares???

i have just noticed that there are little green squares on peoples details on posts?? what do these symbolise??? i havent noticed them beforre?:confused:

and also what are reputation points for???

If you hover over it, it'll give you your reputation - everyones is the same at the moment. If you click on the scales you can add or remove someones reputation.

Reputations are how others rate your post.
So if you do a good post people will add to your reputation, and vice versa.

Reputations on this board will be used to give away prizes etc.

I presume the little green squares are what your status is whether Mod, Admin. Member etc I'm probably wrong though. Totally clueless! :confused:

Nope.
Nothing to do with status. More square you have the greater the reputation.
