Kat And Robbo's Romance Heats Up.

There's a hot new couple in Summer Bay this week as Kat and Robbo declare their true feelings.

It's been a long time coming for the pair, whose flirty encounters have increased in recent episodes of Home and Away.

Fans will recall the policewoman found comfort in Robbo's (Jake Ryan) arms following her break-up with Ash (George Mason). After Robbo confessed his feelings, they wound up in a steamy kiss!

"Kat is the only person Robbo trusts," Jake, 34, explains. "She genuinely cares for him and he feels comfortable with her, so their relationship progresses from that."

This week, however, Kat (Pia Miller) tries to bury her feelings. She's worried about moving on too soon, and what people will think.

"It's a real balancing act between the head and the heart for Kat," Jake says.

But her lust for the mystery man becomes apparent when she spots him shirtless on the beach. As Robbo approaches, Kat finds herself flustered and tongue-tied. She hastily makes an excuse and leaves.

Scarlett (Tania Nolan), who overhears the conversation nearby, warns Kat to stay clear of him. She says he'll only bring trouble. But the brunette can't deny her true feelings.

"Kat wants to believe he is good," Jake reveals. "She's torn by how she feels about him and the facts that are stacking against him."

As talk progresses to moving on from Ash and out of his apartment, Scarlett suggests Kat moves into her spare room.

The next day, Kat delivers the good news to Robbo, who offers to help unpack.

At the apartment, Scarlett decides to get some fresh air, leaving Robbo and Kat alone. After some flirty banter, Robbo reveals he hasn't forgotten about their kiss. They edge closer and Kat gives into temptation.

Has Kat finally found love?

Mason Asks His 'Nurse' Out On A Date

Love is blossoming at the hospital this week as Mason and Beth grow closer.

Medical student Beth (Anneliese Apps) urgently needs an organ transplant.

In her hospital room, Mason (Orpheus Pledger) plucks up the courage to ask her on a date. And she says yes!

"Beth brings out the best in Mason," Orpheus, 24, explains. "He's playful and has no inhibitions with her."

Later, however, Mason's excitement is dampened when he finds what looks like a bucket list written on a piece of paper.

He asks Beth about the list and she tells him she has accepted her fate and is reconsidering treatment.

Mason tries to reassure Beth she'll be OK, but his assurances serve only to agitate her further.

The next day, Mason comes to visit and apologises. But he also has a surprise for Beth - a champagne lunch.

Together, they bond over their love for medicine and ponder the future.

"Mason has never had a connection with anyone else like this," Orpheus says.

Beth leans in for her first proper kiss, but is surprised when Mason suddenly pulls away!

Mason is a man of mixed signals. Surely he hasn't had a change of heart?
