Address bar

My address bar has vanished on IE. It says address it faint lettering but is not showing the actual bar. Anyone know what's wrong? I have tried view- toolbars- address bars. This makes no difference. Can anyone help?

OH its ok I sorted it. If anyone else ever has the same problem here is what to do.
all you have to do is, right click the flag in the right hand corner.then click "lock the toolbars", so it doesnt have a tick next to it, and make sure the "address bar" has a tick. then if it doesnt show up, drag the part, where it say "address " under the flag and drag it over with the mouse. It worked for me.
