Simon Delaney joins

Actor Simon Delaney is getting set to join the cast of Coronation Street this summer and has filmed his debut scenes for the hit soap.
According to The Sunday World, the Bachelor's Walk star has taken up a new role in the Manchester based soap and will make his debut in June.
Details of the character set to be played by Delaney (46) have not been revealed other than that he will be an Irish arrival to Weatherfield.
The actor and presenter has had much success in recent years, landing roles on The Good Wife, The Fall, Moone Boy and The Conjuring 2.

Johnny is the second cousin of Michelle's father (see https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HVPlSj3pdzA) so he would be Michelle's second cousin once removed.

Making them a closer relation may have been intentionally avoided as Johnny was revealed as Carla's father soon after his arrival (she of course was married to Michelle's brother who is her third cousin.)
