Monday

The chemistry between Leo and Mishti is evident. Leo reveals his softer side, but is surprised to learn about Mishti's past.

Meanwhile, Toadie and Sonya are trying to come to terms with their changed relationship. Matters become awkward when Sonya has a surprise visitor.

Elsewhere, David is on a high after his date with Will, and wonders why he is not replying to his texts.


Tuesday

Sonya goes against her better judgement and indulges in some very risky behaviour.

Meanwhile, Toadie is baffled when he overhears a private conversation between Mishti and Shane.

Elsewhere, Tyler is determined to find out who caused the incident at the Backpackers, so launches an investigation behind Mark's back.


Wednesday

Tension is rising within the Sharma-Rebecchi home as Mishti presses Shane to keep her secret.

Meanwhile, Steph is worried about Sonya, but is in danger of going too far in her willingness to help a friend.

Elsewhere, while making arrangements for Xanthe's birthday party, Brooke falls hard for Gary. But how will he respond if she makes a move?


Thursday

Steph is caught trying to cover for Sonya.

Now it is no longer just Sonya at risk of being dragged through the mud – Steph is in just as much trouble.

Meanwhile, Brooke persuades Gary to make a grand gesture to win Terese back – but just what is the lovestruck lady really planning?


Friday

Sonya realises that she has made one mistake too many and decides that the time has come to take responsibility for her actions.

Meanwhile, Xanthe's party gets off to a good start, but Brooke is in for the surprise of her life when Gary arrives.

Elsewhere, Xanthe cannot stop thinking about Finn, especially after he gives her a birthday present.

Trouble On The Cards. Desperate For Cash, Sonya Joins An Illegal Poker Game.

Stuck on a slippery slope, Sonya makes yet another bad decision in Neighbours this week.

Sonya's (Eve Morey) life is falling to pieces. Having already lost her marriage, job, reputation - and soon possibly even her daughter - Sonya doesn't think things could get much worse.

Now, without financial support from her estranged husband, Toadie (Ryan Moloney), or her mayoral income, Sonya finds her money problems mounting.

Worried about how to make ends meet, she catches wind of a high-stakes illegal poker game Leo will be running. It seems like the perfect solution.

When Sonya turns up at Leo's to play, he can tell she's been drinking.

"She's pretty drunk at that point," Eve, 33, says. "Sonya started drinking as a means of coping, but things are getting out of hand. It's only a matter of time before everything unravels."

Leo gently advises Sonya that now isn't the right time for her to be gambling - a suggestion she ignores, buying in at $1000.

While things start out well, Sonya's luck with the cards quickly turns. And it's not long before she's lost all her cash.

"Sonya's not making great decisions," Eve explains. "But she's not in her right mind and is desperate."

Anxious to continue playing, Sonya asks Leo for an IOU. But he refuses.

"We've never seen her at this point," Eve says. "It's sad. Sonya promised herself she'd never gamble again, yet here she is."

Just when it looks like Sonya is done for the night, one of the players offers her a loan.

Leo begs her to rethink, but she's adamant she'll win it back.
