Emmerdale's villagers will say their goodbyes to Ashley next Thursday - but his funeral looks set to bring fresh drama.

On the day itself, Laurel and Harriet are seen struggling to hold it together as the hearse makes its way towards the church. Gabby, though, is blaming Bernice for getting enough private time with her dad.

Young Arthur is also in a state of turmoil and as he reads a poem at the graveyard, he gets overcome with emotion and runs off.

After the funeral, Cain consoles Harriet at the church by offering her a brandy when she confides her guilty over her shaky delivery during the service.
But how will she feel when - the next day - she finds Cain at the church stashing stolen goods? In true Cain fashion, he ends up pulling her in for a kiss - but will his efforts to distract her work?

Monday

Aaron has now been out of prison for a few days and is enjoying being reunited with Robert.

The happy couple enjoy each other's company when they head out for a picnic, but when they arrive back in the village, they're shocked to hear some mind-blowing news. The revelation leaves Robert under serious pressure, but does it relate to Rebecca?

Meanwhile, Debbie starts to become jealous of Faith and Sarah's growing bond.

Elsewhere, Gabby lashes out after Ashley's death.

Also today, Victoria hopes that she's pregnant.


Tuesday

Victoria continues to feel queasy and hopes that she's pregnant. However, when she looks for some advice on what to do next, she may well accidentally blow someone else's secret in the process.

To make matters even more complicated, Adam spots the pregnancy test and tells Moira that he's going to be a dad. Will Adam's dreams be crushed?

Meanwhile, Rebecca is left reeling following news of her own.

Elsewhere, Bernice feels guilty for what happened last week, but she also must come to terms with the extent of her own grief over Ashley.


Wednesday

There's a romantic spark between Faith and Rishi when they have a drink together at The Woolpack.

Later on, they head back to the farm and Rishi moves in for a kiss, but the mood turns sour as he leaves when Faith tells him about her mastectomy. Shocked by his reaction, how will Faith deal with this rejection?

Meanwhile, Ross spots an opportunity to blackmail Robert and holds him to ransom. Will Robert give into his demands or not?

Elsewhere, Adam tries his best to support Victoria and has an idea.


Thursday

It's the day of Ashley's funeral and the whole village comes together to celebrate his life at the local church.

Although everyone is keen to give Ashley a good send-off, the atmosphere could be spoiled by Gabby continuing to blame Bernice for the fact that she didn't have enough time to say goodbye to her dad privately last week.

Meanwhile, Finn returns to the village following his trip to Australia. Will he be in a better state of mind after his holiday?

Elsewhere, Robert realises that he needs to act quickly, so he suggests to Aaron that they should go and visit Liv for a while. Could Robert manage to escape without Ross getting his cash?

Friday

Ashley's funeral day continues and Sandy is touched when he sees a huge turn-out at the wake.

Meanwhile, Laurel decides to go home for some rest after the day's events.

Elsewhere, Cain consoles Harriet at the church when she admits that she feels guilty over her shaky delivery at Ashley's funeral.

Also, Sarah is concerned for Faith and offers her support.
