Tori's decision to fire Nate has professional and personal repercussions. As his family grow more concerned with Brody's behaviour, he makes a risky move. Phoebe receives the offer of her dreams.

TV Week Soap Diary for Home and Away (Aus) 3rd - 6th April 2017

Monday 3 April

- Tori faces a life-changing decision.
- The Morgan's are worried by Brody's erratic behaviour. What will they do?

Tues 4 April

- Brody has a brush with the police. Will he be able to keep his drug use hidden?
- Phoebe receives a big offer, but worries it will affect her relationship with Justin.

- Ash grows frustrated with Luc's custody arrangement.
- Leah asks Zac to move out, but he isn't ready to give up on their relationship just yet.

Shock Exit. Who Will Be Next To Leave Summer Bay?

Having only just allowed Matt & Evie's departure to sink in, Summer Bay now looks set to bid farewell to yet another resident. But who will be leaving?

In this week's episodes of Home and Away, Phoebe is grappling with the idea of pursuing a music career.

Fans will recall the budding singer was shocked when her friend & fellow artist Donna came to visit.

Her presence reminded Phoebe how much she missed performing.

At the Diner, Phoebe & Justin are trying to make plans for their wedding. But Phoebe can't get Donna out of her mind. She's living the life Phoebe's always wanted.

Justin suggests she speak to Donna, but Phoebe isn't sure it's a good idea - being a musician had broken a past relationship. She doesn't want it to happen to them.

Justin insists they'll get married, but he won't be the one to stop Phoebe chasing her dreams.

Later, Phoebe meets up with Donna. As talk turns to the music industry, she makes Phoebe a tempting offer: to be the opening act on her US tour. Will she grab the opportunity?

Justin is thrilled for his fiancée when he hears the news, but Phoebe has her doubts. If she's offered to extend the tour, it'll mean they have to spend months apart. But Justin isn't fazed & tells her to book the flight.

On the day of her departure, Justin & the Morgans wish Phoebe well as she leaves for the airport. But she can't shake that sinking feeling. She's wanted this opportunity for so long, but knows there are sure to be consequences.

Will she get on the plane for the US?


Elsewhere, Tori (Penny McNamee) & Nate are still fighting after budget cuts saw Nate lose his job at the hospital.

Tori, who relinquished control of the decision to the board, tried to defend her actions, but Nate flew off the handle. He can't believe she didn't help him.

"It was a difficult decision for Tori," Penny, 34, says. "She's the head of the emergency department and with that comes responsibilities. She tried to be professional, but it backfired.

"Tori hoped he would understand & be grateful she let the decision be made without her. Instead, Nate was hurt that she didn't defend him."

In the hospital hallway, Nate takes a moment to apologise to Tori for his outburst. He explains he is just worried about his career, that if he doesn't find work, he'll have to leave town.

"There's only one hospital in Summer Bay so it's more than just Nate losing his job," Penny says. "He may have to leave Summer Bay, his home & Tori. It's an awful situation."

Tori panics & asks the board to reinstate Nate. She argues she made a mistake & says that, financially, it makes more sense if they get rid of Dr Griffin instead.

Later, an angry Dr Griffin chastises Tori for prioritising her boyfriend, She knows Tori & Nate are together, and now the entire staff do to.

She goes on to declare she's filed a formal complaint against her, & that Human Resources will be contacting her soon.

"Word gets around the hospital about them & there's legal ramifications for Tori," Penny says. "Suddenly her job is on the line too. They could both lose their jobs & their relationship in the process,"

Whose career path will see them leave Summer Bay?


Matter of the Heart. Will Leah forgive Zac?

Zac's affair with Sam broke Leah's heart & shattered their trust. Now, he's desperate to save his marriage.

After escaping to her parents' house, Leah (Ada Nicodemou) arrives back home to a thrilled Zac (Charlie Clausen).

But when she doesn't respond to his enthusiastic welcome, Zac is crestfallen. He begs his wife to say something, but Leah can't bring herself to speak.

"She won't forgive him," Ada, 39, says. "Even showing her emotions - he just doesn't deserve it. She can't get into a discussion about their relationship."

In a surprise move, Leah kisses her husband & things heat up. But she soon stops herself & breaks down in tears. She can't put aside thoughts of Zac with Sam.

"This is a really difficult time for Leah," Ada says. "She's been the strong one, but she can't hold on to this pain."

Leah tells Zac he needs to stay elsewhere - she can't be around him anymore.

This is surely the couple's sternest test yet.


Also This Week...

Brody has a run-in with the law. Under pressure to keep the business afloat, Brody has turned to drugs to relieve his stress. But his secret is sure to come out when the cops pull him over for a random breath test.

Panicking, & with Raffy in the car as well, Brody speeds off. As the police give chase, he's put both their lives in danger. Tragedy could lie just around the corner....
