Coronation Street's Sally Webster is the victim of a sickening prank next week as she receives a phone call falsely telling her that her breast cancer is back.

Sally gets the worrying "news" after giving an interview to a local radio station to promote the range of mastectomy bras that are being developed by Underworld.

Jenny Bradley (Sally Ann Matthews) sets up the interview, as it was a conversation with Sally that inspired the original idea.

When Sally hits the airwaves on Radio Weatherfield, it's a hugely positive experience for her as she speaks movingly about her own battle with breast cancer.

Sally's husband Tim and daughter Rosie are full of pride as they listen in, but events take a disturbing turn later that afternoon.

Once back at home, Sally takes a phone call seemingly from the hospital and listens in horror as she hears that her latest mammogram shows her cancer has returned.

A devastated Sally breaks the news to Tim, but she's confused when Rosie and Sophie suddenly burst in with big news of their own to share. The girls reveal that the recording of her phone call "from the hospital" has now been posted up online.

Sally is disgusted when she realises that the whole thing was a vicious prank phone call – seemingly orchestrated by the same person who's been abusing her online recently.

When Tim discovers the extent of the online abuse Sally has been suffering, he orders her to delete her accounts – but will it be the end of it?

Sally was diagnosed with cancer in 2009. Sally Dynevor, who plays her, was also diagnosed with breast cancer in real life while working on the storyline – and she now credits the Corrie plot for saving her life.

Reflecting on the experience last year, Sally revealed: "I would never have checked. I hadn't even thought about breast cancer at 46. I thought I was far too young to get it. What is good is the things that have come out of it, like working with charities."

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, March 31 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

Coronation Street's Peter Barlow looks set to fall off the wagon in a huge meltdown next week.

Peter (Chris Gascoyne) returns to his old ways after he's falsely accused of hitting the bottle and cheating on Toyah Battersby by having an affair.

As we've previously revealed, Peter's stalker Chloe is responsible for spreading the lies when she presents herself as his mystery "other woman".

After Chloe speaks to Ken (Bill Roache), he goes straight to Toyah and warns her about what Peter is supposedly up to – completely unaware that he's been duped.

Although Peter begs everyone to hear his side of the story and insists that it's all lies, he grows increasingly frustrated as nobody believes him.

Toyah (Georgia Taylor) is so convinced that it's true that she even makes contact with her estranged husband Toby, revealing that she's left Peter and wants another chance to make their marriage work.

At the end of his tether when he sees Toyah go off with Toby, Peter heads over to the Rovers Return and snatches a bottle of vodka. But will he give into his alcohol demons by hitting the bottle again or not?

If he does resist temptation, there could be good news ahead for him as Toyah eventually decides not to reunite with Toby after all – realising that Peter still needs her.

Although Toyah decides to stick around on the Street, reconciling with Peter isn't so easy as she has lots of questions to ask and still doesn't fully trust him.

Peter insists to Toyah that he stayed sober even when she doubted him, but is he telling the truth? And can he convince her that his "affair" is all in Chloe's head?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, March 27 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.

Coming up on Coronation Street, Tracy Barlow has some more harsh words for her dad Ken as she refuses to forgive him for turning his back on her.

Tracy (Kate Ford) is feeling rejected by Ken after he firmly refused to fund her ambitions of buying the florists.

Friday's double bill also ended with Tracy stumbling across Ken's will at Number 1, leaving Corrie fans to wonder whether she'd take a peek or not.

The tension between the pair only gets worse next week, as Tracy constantly accuses Ken (Bill Roache) of favouring his biological family over her and Amy.

Although Ken tries his best to make peace with Tracy, he's left frustrated when she rejects his efforts – sparking another fiery exchange of words between them.

As Ken points out Tracy's long history of bad behaviour – including how she murdered Charlie Stubbs – he reminds her that he's always stood by her despite everything. But is Ken only making matters worse by confronting Tracy over her past mistakes?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, March 27 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.

Coronation Street spoilers: Horror for Tracy Barlow as Amy goes missing
Tracy Barlow is set to be thrown into a panic in upcoming Coronation Street scenes as her daughter Amy goes missing while the family is in turmoil following a series of rows. But just where has Amy got to – and might she be up to something?
With tensions at boiling point for the Barlows, Tracy is already annoyed that she and her daughter have been seemingly pushed out by Ken, who is focusing on the issues raised by his blood relatives. When he also refuses to lend Tracy the funds to buy the premises for the flower shop, she is even more disheartened and she and Amy are still smarting from overhearing him slate his life with Deirdre recently.
With Ken’s words having clearly affected Amy, she disappears from her violin recital, citing stage fright. As a panicked Tracy and Luke search everywhere for the youngster, their fears grow but as she slinks into No.1 and is caught by Ken in the front room, what is she doing that requires her to be so sneaky?
And, as further rows kick off in the Barlow household, will the rifts grow even more?

i know right. i've always found it amusing how his family keep throwing tantrums when they don't get their way and go on about how terrible a dad ken is, then weeks later they're around asking for money

Monday (1)

Devastated by Peter's apparent betrayal, Toyah takes comfort from Leanne. Peter begs Leanne and Simon to hear his side of the story and assures them that he hasn't touched a drop of alcohol. He also explains that the 'affair' with Chloe is pure fantasy on her part, but they refuse to believe a word.

Peter rails at Ken, accusing him of wrecking his life. Desperate to prove his innocence, Peter begs Chloe to stop playing games and set the record straight. Will Chloe agree?

Later, Toyah meets up with Toby and tells him she's left Peter. As she climbs in Toby's car, Peter watches and is gutted. At his wits' end, Peter marches into The Rovers and snatches a bottle of vodka.

Meanwhile, when Daniel tries to talk to Sinead about her miscarriage and suggests she should see a doctor, Sinead insists she's fine and hurries out. Daniel confides in Ken that Sinead's had a miscarriage and he feels partly to blame because of all the stress he's caused. Ken masks his guilt.

Elsewhere, Tracy rows with Ken, accusing him of putting his real kids before her and Amy. In the community centre, Amy prepares for her violin performance. Telling Tracy she's forgotten her rosin, Amy slips back home. Amy makes a call and leaves a message saying she's leaving the money behind the clock - everyone will be at her recital, so it'll be safe to collect it. But as she goes to place the money, she's thwarted by Ken's arrival. What is Amy up to?

Also, Todd continues to poke fun at Phelan, but when he makes a joke about the spirit world, Phelan flips and shoves Todd up against the wall. Is Phelan's conscience getting the better of him?

Later, Ken tears a strip off Phelan for taking so long over the kitchen and points out that he should be grateful for the work when most people wouldn't give him the time of day. Phelan seethes.

Monday (2)

As Peter eyes the bottle of vodka longingly, he reaches a decision. Will he return to the bottle or not?

At the same time, Toyah ruefully admits to Toby that Leanne was right about Peter. But as he drives her home to collect her belongings, Toyah has a sudden change of heart and decides that Peter needs her. Can Toby convince her otherwise?

Later, Ken's in turmoil after rows with Peter and Tracy, as well as dealing with the weight of Daniel's pain over the loss of Sinead's pregnancy.

Meanwhile, as the recital starts at the community centre, Amy slips away. Luke and Tracy search for Amy in the ginnel, unaware of a figure watching them from the shadows. Adam skulks outside in a baseball cap, with his eyes fixed on Number 1. In the street, Tracy is relieved to locate Amy, who claims to have suffered stage fright but glances shiftily towards Number 1.

Elsewhere, Sinead insists that Daniel should now take his opportunity at Oxford.

Wednesday

Toyah, Leanne and Simon demand to know if Peter's been drinking.

Peter admits being tempted due to Chloe's lies, but he swears he resisted.

Meanwhile, Rosie and Sophie are perturbed to overhear Kevin admit to Anna that his money troubles are so bad that he may not meet the mortgage payment. Rosie informs Sophie she's secured a glamour shoot with a fee that would significantly reduce Kevin's debt, but Sophie thinks it's a bad idea.

Elsewhere, Brian is pleased to see Cathy as she arrives back from Scotland and presents him with a pair of socks to replace the ones she ruined. Mischievous Yasmeen manoeuvres Cathy into inviting Brian to the theatre with her. Brian is only too happy to accept. Not wanting Roy to know of his date with Cathy, Brian pretends he's going to a talk on carbon emissions.

Also today, Jenny recruits Sally for a local radio interview promoting the mastectomy bras.

Finally, Johnny stuns Jenny by suggesting they get married in the summer and tells her to get organising. Jenny is thrilled.

Friday (1)

While Sally prepares for her radio interview, Rosie gets offered even more money for the glamour shoot. Sophie informs Kevin of how Rosie is going back to glamour modelling to help him avoid bankruptcy. Furious, will Kevin be able to talk her out of it?

Later, Jenny and Sally are interviewed on Radio Weatherfield. Sally talks about her cancer experience as Tim and Rosie listen with pride.

Once back at home, Sally takes a phone call from the hospital and listens in horror to the bombshell that her latest mammogram shows her cancer has returned.

Meanwhile, Roy quizzes Brian on carbon emissions, leaving Brian flustered trying to keep on top of his lies. When Cathy asks Brian out again, will he agree?

Elsewhere, Leanne counsels Toyah, who's struggling to believe Peter's claim that he's stayed sober and faithful.

Also, Fiz gives stressed-out Alya a massage in Underworld. When Alya praises her magic fingers and Sean points out how much professionals charge, Fiz has a brainwave.

Friday (2)

Sally tells Tim that she's got to go into hospital as her cancer has come back. Tim is floored as he hugs his wife. Rosie and Sophie burst into Number 4 and play Sally and Tim a recording of Sally's phone call from the hospital, which has been posted online.

Sally is sickened to realise the whole thing has been a vicious prank. Tim is furious to discover the extent of the online abuse Sall has been suffering and insists she deletes her accounts. Sally is deeply disturbed.

Meanwhile, Roy is puzzled when Cathy mentions the play she saw with Brian last night. Roy tackles Brian about his deception and vows that he has no objection to him and Cathy spending time together as friends. Brian informs Cathy that Roy has given his blessing to their friendship, but were they both hoping for more?

lsewhere, Peter explains to Toyah how he saw her with Toby and thought he'd lost her. He swears he hasn't drunk or cheated on her. Will Toyah believe him and will the couple be reconciled?
