Coronation Street is planning a blast from the past as Sally Webster's younger sister Gina Seddon returns to the show.
Gina hasn't been seen on the cobbles since 1989, but she's now heading back to our screens with a new actress in the role.
Corrie's surprise new storyline was revealed today (March 15) as Helen Flanagan was pictured filming with new cast member Connie Hyde.
The upcoming scenes see Helen's character Rosie Webster track down Gina, although there's currently no details on why she's back after all this time.
Rosie also gets a chance to meet her cousin Leah, who's played by newcomer Molly McGlynn.

Gina was previously portrayed by actress Julie Foy in 1988 and 1989. Back then, her storylines included a one-night stand with Martin Platt, which caused fireworks on the Street as she was also dating another man called Billy Wyatt at the time.
Coronation Street's producer Kate Oates first teased Gina's return in an interview with Inside Soap yesterday as she discussed her future plans for the Websters.
Viewers are about to see Sally go through a tough time as she's targeted by a vicious online troll, so it sounds like she may need all the family support she can get.

Kate revealed: "Sally and Tim are set to struggle. Sally might be a snob, but she has a good heart and has worked hard to get where she has, working for the council. So the idea that she might be forced out is a frightening one.
"In the midst of all this, though, there will be another face from the Webster past making a return. Sal's girls are back already, but someone else may soon be turning up who will extend the family even further."
New arrival Connie Hyde previously played the role of PC Cathy Bradford in The Bill.

New Coronation Street pictures show Sally Webster having a heartwarming reunion with her younger sister Gina Seddon.
The ITV soap confirmed last week that it was planning a bit of a blast from the past by reintroducing Gina, who hasn't been seen on the cobbles since 1989.
The brand new paparazzi pictures show Sally turning up on Gina's doorstep, where it looks like she receives a very warm welcome.

Gina looks delighted to see Sally as the pair share an embrace – but further details on why Sally has decided to head out of Weatherfield to see her sister are currently under wraps.
We do know, however, that Sally is set to face a very tough time over the coming weeks as she is targeted by a vicious hoaxer, who cruelly leads her to believe that her cancer is back in a shock twist at the end of the month.

Joe Duttine, who plays Tim, has been spotted working on location with new Corrie cast member Connie Hyde as the dark storyline continues.
As we've previously reported, Connie has taken over the role of Sally's sister Gina Seddon, who's about to return to our screens after 28 years.
We've also previously told you how Gina will become a top suspect in Sally's stalker saga, after Rosie and Sophie do some detective work which leads them straight to her address.

These intriguing new paparazzi shots now show Tim trying to track down Gina himself, seemingly convinced that she's the one who's been stalking Sally.
Tim finds Gina in a bad state as she's slumped against a tree and appears to be completely down and out, but if she really has been stalking Sally, what's her motive? And could Tim get an explanation when he invites Gina into his cab?

Corrie fans have been gripped by the saga of Sally's troll in recent weeks, as someone out there is clearly determined to make her life a misery.
After the horror of having her obituary printed in the local paper and having an animal heart sent to her, Sally finally reached breaking point last night and vowed to resign from the council. So has her tormentor won?

Coronation Street's Rosie and Sophie Webster finally get some answers over Sally's stalker next week as they quiz the stepdaughter of their auntie Gina Seddon.
Rosie (Helen Flanagan) is about to be rocked by a shocking discovery when she realises that Gina is the mystery troll who's been making Sally's life a misery for weeks now.
The truth dawns on Rosie when she pays a visit back to Leah Buckley, who recently blamed her mysterious stepmum for Sally's ordeal.
It's only when Rosie spots Leah with her stepmum that she recognises her as Gina and puts two and two together, realising that Sally's sister is the cause of all the recent trouble.
When Rosie and Sophie call at Leah's house yet again a few days later, they're both determined to get to the bottom of why their Auntie Gina would want to troll Sally.
The pair also don't waste much time before confronting Gina themselves, demanding to know why she sent so many vicious messages to their mum.
Gina is completely stunned by the accusations and denies all knowledge, prompting Leah to step in with a sad explanation.
Blaming her stepmum's bipolar condition, Leah explains that Gina was definitely responsible but has no memory of what she's done.
Unsure how to react to this news, will Rosie and Sophie head back to the cobbles and tell Sally the truth or not?

Me too. Perhaps she feels threatened that Gina has this family that she isn't part of. They would probably not speak to Gina again if they thought she was the stalker, then Leah would feel more secure as Gina wouldn't have anyone else.
Corrie aren't usually one for continuity so I don't think Leah is a stepdaughter simply because Gina hasn't been mentioned as having a daughter before. There must be another reason for it.

Not seen anything yet that confirms it...speculation yes, as they spend a lot of time together now .. still hope Tim is a decent husband and does not cheat ..

Connie Hyde has hinted that Gina Seddon and Sally Metcalfe won't be torn apart forever – despite both being in love with the same man.
Fans are expecting an inevitable sisterly showdown, as Gina has fallen for her brother-in-law Tim while Sally is in prison.
Although Gina hasn't yet acted on her feelings, viewers are suspicious that it's only a matter of time before she crosses the line. Plus, as with all secrets in soap, Gina's feelings are sure to be exposed to everyone sooner or later.
Speaking about her initial reaction to the story, Connie told Inside Soap: "I love Sally [Dynevor, who plays Sally] so much – we're best friends. So we both went, 'Oh no!'
"Actually though, the way it's been done is clever. It's not been Machiavellian, which was my fear at first, but it's been the opposite of that and the story will run for a long time. There's been different peaks and it's very subtle, so I'm pleased with it.
"We were just worried that it would affect our relationship as sisters, but actually there's something that happens down the line that will rectify that."
Discussing the pair's bickering scenes, Connie added: "I love those scenes. What I enjoy about that dynamic is that they were brought up in the gutter, so Gina has seen Sally as a real foul-mouthed scally.
"And Gina likes to make fun of the fact that she's now all posh, and remind her where she came from. That's something that no-one else knows about Sally."
