Deirdre was a far better person than snobby Ken. He has always thought he is better that anyone else just because he is well read and been to University.

Monday (1)
In the Bistro, Robert admits that he overheard Daniel's conversation with his lecturer and congratulates him on his place at Oxford. When Robert then mentions it to Ken, he's surprised although clearly overjoyed and sets about organising a family meal to celebrate.
Later, Sinead takes Daniel to view a flat that's up for rent, painting a cosy picture of life with the baby. Daniel tries to push thoughts of Oxford from his mind, but when they arrive at the bistro, Sinead is stunned as a proud Ken announces that he's called them all together to celebrate Daniel's acceptance to Oxford.
Meanwhile, Toyah is perturbed to find a stash of cash in the kitchen cupboard but keeps her counsel. When Peter tells her that he's worried about one of his regular fares as their ex keeps bothering them, Toyah encourages Peter to go and check on them - presuming it to be a man.
Peter calls at Chloe's house and fixes some bolts to the doors. She's grateful and her fondness for Peter is evident.
Elsewhere, Seb is put out when Faye doesn't seem to have time to see him. Consumed with jealousy, Seb lets his temper get the better of him.
Also, Nick begs Michelle not to tell Leanne about their fumble, but bitter Michelle is adamant Leanne deserves the truth. Will she drop the bombshell?
Monday (2)
Sinead rushes out of the Bistro, deeply hurt. Telling a devastated Ken that he's turning Oxford down, Daniel goes after her. Daniel assures Sinead that he has no intention of going to Oxford and wants to spend the rest of his life with her.
Ken later calls Sinead to Number 1, where he implores her to call off her relationship with Daniel as she's standing in the way of his career. A hurt Sinead reveals that she's pregnant with Daniel's baby and Ken reels.
As Ken rants at Sinead about his wasted life with Deirdre and how he wants better for Daniel, Tracy overhears and is appalled. How will Sinead react to Ken's pleas?
Meanwhile, sensing Seb's jealousy, Faye hugs him and assures him that she loves him. Having seen another side to Seb, Anna bans Faye from seeing him.
Elsewhere, as Peter makes to leave, Chloe tries to kiss him. Will Peter respond? Back at home, Toyah confronts Peter with the cash, so will he explain all?
Also, Nick and Leanne call at The Rovers and begrudgingly agree access arrangements with Steve.
Friday (1)
As Peter helps Toyah with her IVF injection, she tries to bury her suspicions about the money. Soon afterwards, when a cash buyer arrives at the pub, Peter is stunned to see that it's Chloe and Steve and Liz are considering her offer.
Peter angrily steers Chloe outside and orders her to stay away from both him and the street. Ken clocks their exchange. Finding Chloe alone, Ken approaches her and Chloe explains she's had a row with her "boyfriend" Peter. Taken aback, Ken invites her back to Number 1 to talk.
Meanwhile, Daniel searches in vain for Sinead, while Beth worries about her niece. Ken apologises to Daniel and assures him that he only wants what's best for him. When Daniel reveals that Sinead is pregnant and he loves her very much, Ken feels terrible.
Elsewhere, Anna orders Seb to stay away from Faye. Seb attempts to apologise to Faye for his behaviour, but worried that Anna will see them, Faye rushes inside.
Also, Tracy is deflated when the bank turn down her loan application for the florists. She begs Ken to lend her the money but is left fuming when he disagrees.
Finally, Todd forms a plan to wind up Phelan and pretend there's ghostly goings on in the builders flat.
Friday (2)
Chloe spreads her poison, telling Ken how she and Peter are having an affair and he's drinking again. She also reveals that she lent him £2,000 and she's planning to buy the pub simply to stop Peter from ruining his life.
Ken is horrified, and with a heavy heart, he breaks the news to Toyah of Peter's drinking and affair. Will Toyah believe what she's being told about Peter?
Meanwhile, in tears, Sinead tells Daniel that she's had a miscarriage and he's free to go to Oxford. Daniel hugs her, devastated.
Elsewhere, having bought an old violin, Amy then smashes it up before duping Ken into giving her £200 for a replacement, promising that she'll play at the community centre concert on Monday.
Also, Tracy finds Ken's will at Number 1. Will she look inside?

Why is Leanne giving into all Steve's demands, he didn't want to know her and Oli a few weeks back :angry:
I think he always wanted to but his initial reaction was to say he would not be interested to protect Michelle from finding out ...
Meanwhile, Coronation Street's Peter Barlow puts his relationship with Toyah Battersby at risk as he finds himself at Chloe's beck and call.
With crazy Chloe still lying to Peter (Chris Gascoyne) about having an obsessive ex-boyfriend, he can't help worrying about how she's getting on.
When Toyah (Georgia Taylor) notices that Peter is behaving strangely, he admits that he's worried about one of his regular cab customers who's having trouble with an ex.
Toyah assumes that Peter is talking about a man and he doesn't correct her, so she encourages him to pay a visit and check that everything is okay.
Encouraged by Toyah's misguided blessing, Peter heads over to see Chloe and falls for her lies hook, line and sinker as she claims that her ex has been hassling her again.
Peter helps out by fixing some new locks to Chloe's front door so that she feels safe, but when he makes to leave after finishing, she jumps in and suddenly tries to kiss him.
Will Peter stay faithful to Toyah, or give into temptation by responding?
