As a long-time character he was (IMHO). Sure there have been characters that were pretty awful, Harvey for one but he wasn't on for long. I could make a list but I don't think there is enough room for all?

I find it hard to believe that a decision was made based on this rubbish evidence! The witness wasn't quick enough to get a photo of drugs being handed over, yet got one with the money being given? Sounds like they are saying the drugs were given before the money. I find this VERY unlikely.

Yes and that was another thing, Imran says that Abi has a way of cheating the tests and that's just accepted by the court. If it's a known fact that addicts know how to cheat the tests, why do courts order them? And how exactly do they cheat them? Are the doctors really that stupid?

And another thing... George gets a GP appointment, diagnosed with sleep Apnoea and gets a CPAP machine all within an hour. No hospital waiting list. No sleep studies and no waiting months for a CPAP machine. It's just as well for Weatherfield it's not in the United Kingdom and has its own health service (as well as its own council and judicial system).

Actually, I got diagnosed with Sleep Apnoea had the studies and was given a CPAP machine in less than a fortnight. Unlike George I just use mine at night.

Daniel said he is not ready for a new romantic relationshipny, I think he is still grieving for Sinead and he said he still has Daisy on his mind. But I can see them getting together at a point in the future which in soapland will not be a very distant future.

Another "Big Week", hope it is better than Emmerdale's "Big Week" which quite frankly, I found to be disappointing. I see they are copying the special effect, colour faded, looks into the future too, which I don't see any need for, and I feel adds nothing to story.

She is very gobby but the Police were very unprofessional. The common sense method is to carry out a thorough examination of the vehicle before you interview anyone formally.

I think the police would want to do an initial interview, as soon after the incident as possible, while it is fresh in the mind.
Think the police might be a bit premature to take Kevin and Abi down the station, maybe ask them a few questions at the house, but surely they would need to examine the car before any serious interviewing.

It must have been obvious that just because there was no skid marks it did not mean the brakes were faulty, surely he should have realised it was possible they were not applied. Toyah might simply have taken her eyes of the road. Of course as we know now, Imran had probably told her the truth and they were arguing. Soaps need drama, but I wish they would make more effort to "make it real".

I appreciate that they can't perform proper CPR on an actor so why do they not just show somebody doing pretend compressions without actually showing the chest of the victim? The way they showed Imran getting CPR treatment can give the impression that a gentle push on the chest is all you need to do rather than proper hard compressions where sometimes ribs are broken in the process...

Watched an interview with a doctor talking about CPR, and indeed, it can cause severe bruising and break ribs. They made the point that it is not as gentle as is portrayed on TV. If the patient is revived they will feel like they have had a severe beating.

Really do not think the police carry out interviews like this anymore, especially not before they examine the car. Normally police will interview in pairs, but not in this case. Kevin was not under caution nor was he told he could have a solicitor. Surprized he was not hit on the side of the head with a copy of the Yellow Pages. Any admission would not be admissible, so what was the point of all this aggression. I thought for a minute I was watching an episode of "The Sweeney or Life on Mars".
In reality he should be making a complaint about his treatment, but this being Corrie he probably won't.

Toyah was only in custody a short time when the Social Worker came round to pick up Alfie. Hardly likely to happen in real life. Toyah hadn't even been charged and Alfie was being well looked after by folk he knew.

If Toyah crashed the car with the intent to cause Imran harm I'd say the most she could be done for is attempted murder, but given the circumstances that would be a bugger to prove. Using one phone message as evidence is very sketchy in my opinion. Police forces in soaps can't get known criminals put away with evidence in front of them (see Phil Mitchell in Eastenders), something this tenuous is no hope.

I think that is what they are trying to demonstrate... never heard of it myself but then never been in that situation nor do I know of anyone who has done this. The 'reboot' one, 'Redemption', wasn't bad. But one of my fav characters, Hardison was only in a couple of the 16 episodes & I didn't miss Hutton (he was one of my least favs along with Eliot). But adding Noah Wyle was good, he helped with the humor aspect.
One of the producers/writers has basically created a TV channel (Electric Now) to show off all his TV creations (he has quite a few).
