Summer Bay’s residents all pitch in to celebrate Evie & Matt’s wedding. Can John really live with himself if he makes Marilyn leave the Bay? Zac drops the truth on Leah.

Tuesday, 21st

Will VJ and Leah crack under the strain? John wants to help the victims of his bushfire.

Wednesday, 22nd

Justin learns why Brody’s been acting so strange lately. Leah breaks down and Ash begins to suspect Irene wants to keep Luc more permanently. John and Marilyn’s happiness is cut short by a phone call.

Thursday, 23rd

Is Kat right to be concerned about Patrick’s state of mind? Hunter and Olivia get a reality check when they lay eyes on their new rental property. Brody lies to Justin and Tori about his drug habit.

Kat doesn’t feel safe with unstable Patrick in the house, but Ash doesn’t want to lose his brother. Nate’s not comfortable with wedding talk.

Wedding Farewell. Shock Exits Rock The Bay.

Fairytale Wedding. Evie And Matt Decide To Tie The Knot Before They Leave The Bay.

One big decision leads to another for Summer Bay couple Evie & Matt, who decide to call a snap wedding to tie the knot. In this week's episodes of Home and Away, the happy couple are frantically trying to organise a last-minute ceremony before they head off to Vietnam.

But they might not be the only couple leaving the Bay. Feeling ostracised by the community, John convinces Marilyn they should make a fresh start elsewhere.

Are we really about to farewell two of our favourite Summer Bay couples?

In the midst of planning their move overseas, Evie proposed to Matt. "Rekindling this love with Matt proved to Evie that love still does exist & still does have happy endings," Philippa, 22, explains. "She wanted to take hold of that."

Determined to have their loved ones there to celebrate the big event with them, Matt & Evie decide to get married the very next day.

As word spreads, it's all hands on deck as the locals pitch in to make the wedding dreams of the young couple come true.

"It's a rush to organise," Philippa says. "But in true Summer Bay fashion, everyone gets on board to make the wedding day as special as it can be."

On the morning of the big day, Evie is devastated when she finds out Zac won't be able to make it to the wedding.

He's at a conference in Adelaide & his flight home has been delayed.

Evie can't imagine him not being there. Will she cancel the wedding?

"It's really devastating, because Zac is her last family member & Evie feels that if he is not there, then Hannah isn't there, Oscar isn't there, Dad's not there, Mum's not there," Philippa explains of Zac standing in place for Evie's entire family.

Just as Evie is about to cancel the wedding, Zac calls her on FaceTime. He tells her Hannah & Oscar would want to see her happy. It's enough to convince her & the wedding is back on. Phew!

At the beautiful garden ceremony, Matt nervously waits for his bride. Finally, she arrives.

Wearing a sleeveless white lace gown with her hair pulled back in loose waves, Evie looks ravishing. And as she walks down the aisle, she flashes a big grin towards Matt.

Alf officiates the ceremony & delivers a few words for the happy couple. After Evie & Matt tearfully exchange vows, they seal the deal with a romantic kiss.

"It's a really simple, pretty country wedding," Philippa says. "The set-up was just gorgeous - lots of wood & native flowers. It was a beautiful day."

At the reception, the bride is delighted when Zac finally arrives.

They embrace, & Zac tells Evie he's been holding on to something for a very long time - her parents wedding rings. As Zac hands over the rings, he tells Evie how proud her parents would be of her.

Under a starry sky, Evie & Matt have their first dance as a married couple, relishing their special moment in Summer Bay



Leah's Heartache. Cheater Zac Spills The Truth To Leah.

This week, Zac reveals the ugly truth to Leah - he cheated on her with Sam.

Absolutely gutted, Leah (Ada Nicodemou) tries to be strong for VJ & baby Luc. But eventually she breaks down in tears to Irene.

"Leah is devastated," Ada, 39, explains. "She loves Zac and she's very hurt."

Later, we see Leah packing her bags. Will one of our favourites up and leave?

"Things haven't been going well for them for a while," Ada says of Zac & Leah. "They've been very disconnected & haven't had time for each other."

When Sam showed up the first time, Zac was quick to shut down any prospect of him ever cheating.

But Zac did cross the line with Sam. And now a wounded Leah cries as she pushes Luc's pram around the garden.

She's had relationship woes before, but no-one has ever betrayed her the way Zac has.

"They'd fallen apart, but for Zac to sleep with Sam - she feels really deceived & can't see how she'll get past that," Ada says. "She is just so distraught & upset."

Zac wants to talk with Leah to sort things out. But she has baby Luc & VJ to be worried about & can't deal with Zac right now. She tells him to go & be with Sam.

Leah is dealt a further blow when she discovers Matt knew about Zac & Sam but chose not to say anything to her.

"Matt is like another son to Leah," Ada says. "She feels like a real fool & that he should have said something sooner. But ultimately, Zac shouldn't have cheated."

So what will a broken-hearted Leah do? Will she pack up & leave the Bay?


Justin And Phoebe Get Engaged.

Justin & Phoebe get engaged in Home and Away this week. Initially, Phoebe wasn't happy about being proposed to, claiming she's not a marriage kind of gal. But Justin manages to talk her around & eventually she says yes. Now, the big question is: will they make it to the altar?
