Without a Trace- Another quality American drama that doesn't recieve the recognition it deserves, very moving and capable of making the viewer laugh and cry, not many programmes can do that.

Murder In Suburbia- Its just so funny and great for a Saturday Night
Eastenders-- I didnt watch this before, but I love it. Especially the maggots two weeks ago
Casualty- It has great storylines and is great for a Saturday Night
Will and Grace- Oh I love Karen so much, she's hilarious
Footballers Wives- Some people say its rubbish but to watch people like Tanya
Desperate Housewives- This is just amazing
Hustle- The best show around. The amazing storylines and twists. The brilliant characters. Its fab

7. Bad Girls - This i have always liked for purely the actresses performances especially Simone Lahbib in the first 3 seasons and also Linda Henry who played Yvonne
8. Footballers Wives - i was hooked on this until Tanya left, her relationship with Conrad was great! (Bring back Tanya!!!)

1 24 Pure Addiction. Kiefer Sutherland is amazing as Jack Bauer. with a stunning cast and gripping episodes you can't help but get engrosed in the plot.
2 Without a Trace Another cracking American series with a phenomanal cast and heartbreaking story lines.
3 ER Now in its 12th year. ER is not as good as it used to be with Dr Green and Dr Ross but still is a great programme.
4 CSI/Miami/NY. Another brilliant programme from the writers/producers of Without a Trace.
5 casualty. Not as heartstopping as ER but still the best programme on a saturday night.
6 Shameless. Brilliantly funny
7 West wing. fantastic series Martin Sheen is phenomanal as the president and a excellent cast
8 Six feet under. Wacky, weird and funny.
I know that 6 out of 8 of my faviourite programmes are america but I hate soap operas and when it comes to real adictive veiwing and sexy eye candy british programmes just can't cut the mustard.
We need to see more of David Morrisey (Ripley Holden in Blackpool), Richard Armitage (John Thornton in North & South), Sean Bean(Sharp,Lord of the Rings) and Doug Allen (Nathan Willaims, Eastenders,Sexy doctor in William & Mary) :heart: :heart: :heart: :heart:

1) CSI - crime scene investigation (vegas) - just a fantastic well written well acted programme!!

2) CSI - New York - Again well written and well acted

3) Law and Order - SVU - has some fantasic story lines that some programmes would be scared to do

4) Law and Order - criminal intenet - great story lines and characters

5) Desperate Housewives - great characters can't wait until next series!!

6) Eastenders - has got so much better it is back up the top

7) Diagnosis Murder - i love dick van dyke!!

8) Casualty - i have watched it since i can remember it has always been fab!!

1. The All-time greatest british show ever is Doctor Who :cheer:
I dont care what anyone says, it rules. It has fab actors and actresses, great CGI effects, and a script writer thats an inspiration to any wannabe scriptwriter. Doctor who has it all, cause it's emotional, full of action, and has some good jokes in it too. It rules all. Always has, always will.

(Can you tell i'm a Doctor Who fan?! :p)

2. Doctor Who Confidential
Its about the making of Doctor Who. Need i say more?!

3. Deal or No Deal
I admit it. I'm hooked. Its fab. Pity its filmed in Bristol- i'd love to watch it being filmed...

4. Big Brother
Its addictive, and funny. I love the twists, and everything about it.

5. Eastenders
Ok, so i do actaully like this quite a lot (my hatred for the BBC for several reasons sometimes clouds my judgement on these boards though....). They've had some good stories in the past, and some good actresses, i'll give them that!

6. Casualty
Its action packed sometimes, and the charcters are really built up, so its just fab!

7. Emmerdale
I just love it... Dont really know why!!

I love this show. Its great- very funny and generally entertaining

Friends- Haven't watched it for a while, but I have nearly every episode on video, and I was seriously obsessed with it in it's day! Great characters, and very funny!

Eastenders- Big fan of Bradley and Stacey at the moment. I try not to miss an episode, but perhaps not as dedicated as I used to be.

Frasier- Love it! Watch it on Paramount all the time. Seen each episode about a dozen times. I love the characters, and I love the show!

Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps- Big fan! Love all the characters, the new Series is getting good. Got Series 5 on dvd.

Only Fools and Horses- Must be the greatest British sitcom of all time. Delboy and Rodney, their just classic! I watch the reruns on Uk Gold.

Sex and the City- Thought it was a great show. Really encouraged my love of NewYork, it's somewhere I have always wanted to live. Everything just seems so glamorous! I love how they are all friends, and have a bond, just like family.

Ellen-Try to catch it when I can. I think she's a great character, really down to earth. And so funny. Which is obvious because she's a stand up comedian.

The L Word- Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's a great show. It's all about freedom of expression. And America seems to be a lot more open about things that Britain is. I like it!

1. Jonathan Creek- The best mystery drama ever, loved the chemistry and subtle comedy with Caroline Quentin and Alan Davies as well.

2. Footballers Wives- Love this series because it is so ott and you don't have to take it seriously. Also the twists and turns of each series keeps me gripped.

3. Bad Girls- Love this as well. Great tv drama. I like it's grittiness and top notch drama

4. Spooks- I adore this show! I can't wait til the next series. The stories every week are brilliant and it keeps me hooked.

6. Doctor Who- Love the adventures! Definetly glad they bought it back. Great viewing for a saturday night!

7. Big Brother- I am hooked to this show each summer. Definetly because of the twists and turns and the colourful and bubbly contestants. I also like how it's very unpredictable, and Davina is a great host.

I already did my top 8 a while back. But I just wanted to add something that I have really got into big time over the last couple months. That is Two and a Half Men. I think it's brilliant. It's so funny and is getting like Frasier now for me. I want to watch it on Paramount everyday, when I'm not in work.

One of the brothers in it, was in Pretty In Pink. And he's really good. It's strange seeing him so old.

as much as i love British Drama American drama is in a much better league!!! Its more dramatic and intense and they really know how to do cliffhangers and season finales. 24 episodes per series is like half a year long! So if its a show that you enjoy its on for half a year!!! :cheer:
