You've voted in your masses, the judging panel has deliberated, and now the British Soap Awards 2017 winners are finally in.

Hosted by Phillip Schofield, soap's biggest night of the year took place at The Lowry Theatre in Manchester tonight (June 3), ahead of ITV's official broadcast on Tuesday.

Yes they did, I stand corrected but it was not voted by public, an achievement award, Tony Warren Award to Gillian Richmond a scriptwriter of 30 years

I think they had to give Eastenders something :p
