TV Week also has the following plot teasers (Including the arsonists identity):
- Up in Flames. Everyone's lives are at risk as a fierce bushfire rips through Summer Bay. Viewers were left stunned in the closing moments of last year's Home and Away season finale. It appeared the Summer Grooves festival was set to go up in flames after John sparked a fire in nearby bushland. As the series returns, there's no escape for the partygoers as the deadly flames close in. Who will survive? The shocking revelation of the arsonist's identity comes weeks after mysterious spot fires saw police frantic to find the culprit. It's no secret John's (Shane Withington) mental state has been a growing concern of late. Now, it appears his fragile condition will have dire consequences. As partygoers revelled in the festival music, John, disguised in a black hoodie, splashed litres of petrol on the surrounding shrubs before setting it alight. This week, Kat discovers the previous fires were no accident - they all follow a signature pattern. She's then told a new bushfire has ignited & races to the festival. In a frantic phone call to Phoebe, Kat urges her to get everyone out of there - fast! As Phoebe spreads the word, a composed John reappears to help Zac & Matt take charge of the group. However, Olivia, Mason and Marilyn are nowhere to be seen. As Hunter (Scott Lee) heads off to find Olivia, with Zac close behind, the rest of the group rush to a nearby bush shack. "Hunter's thinking the worst, because he can't find Olivia," Scott, 24, says. "He's acting on fear & not thinking rationally." The air is thick with smoke as the blaze intensifies around the shack. Evie can hardly breathe. Alf leads the SES in search of the missing. Despite his reassurances that Mason & Olivia are probably safe, Brody decides to join Hunter. The pair struggle to navigate their way around the bush & Hunter is struck by a falling tree branch. "Hunter runs into the fire, which is stupid," Scott reveals. "But, he's scared of losing the girl he loves. He puts himself in a lot of danger & ends up in hospital." Later, Alf is relieved when the residents who were trapped during the bushfire emerge & are taken to hospital. Marilyn, however, is still nowhere to be found. John is beside himself with worry. "It's a small town & Marilyn is a massive part of it," Scott says. "There's a lot of fear & panic for her." Fed up with waiting, John informs Alf he's going back out to search for Marilyn. Knowing there's nothing he can do to stop him, Alf reluctantly joins John. Will the pair find Marilyn? And, more importantly, will she be alive?
- Out of Breath. Can VJ get Billie & her baby to safety? Pregnant Billie is caught in the middle of a fierce firestorm in the season return of Home and Away. To make matters worse, she's about to have a baby. Can she & her unborn child be saved? When we left Billie in the 2016 season finale, she was about to give birth by the side of the road after her & VJ's (Matt Little) car broke down. In this week's dramatic scenes, Billie's unborn baby is at risk as her labour intensifies while she & VJ are stranded in the middle of nowhere. "Reality sets in that Billie & the baby may die," Matt, 23, says. As he tries to find a phone signal, VJ notices flames on the horizon & realises they're in much more trouble than he thought. There's a fire approaching. "Apart from the fear of immediate death, VJ's thinking, 'I may have to find a way to deliver this baby,"' Matt explains. Thinking quickly, VJ scoops up Billie & carries her down the road. The terrifying inferno edges closer by the second. It's touch & go whether Billie & VJ will make it to safety. "He has to make a choice - 'I can stay here, panic & possibly die, or do something about it,"' Matt says. Whether it's a smart decision, he doesn't know. But he doesn't even give himself the opportunity to be afraid. "He picks this girl up & thinks he'll just run & see how far he can get." Poor Billie's pregnancy has been a terrible ordeal from the outset. She was raped by a mysterious man, who later turned out to be Irene's deranged son, Mick. After falling pregnant, she told VJ the baby was his. But VJ pieced together the puzzle & was all ready to leave Billie at the end of last year. The teenager showed his mettle, however, coming through for Billie when she needed him most. Now, Billie needs to be in a hospital to have her baby. Will an exhausted VJ & a barely conscious Billie reach the police roadblock in time? Does Billie have the strength to keep fighting?
- Mystery Medic. Who is the new surgeon? Billie isn't the only one facing a race against the clock. A bloodied Justin needs urgent surgery - and Tori is set to perform the operation. Enter the new doctor. But who is he? Fans will recall Justin was viciously stabbed in the stomach by baddie Ranae in the final moments of last year's episodes. The Morgans thought they were free now they weren't in witness protection. But they hadn't counted on evil Ranae exacting her own revenge. This week, his sister, Tori (Penny McNamee), calls an ambulance as Ranae & her thugs speed away. Justin is weak from blood loss when he arrives at the hospital. A desperate Tori knows he needs surgery, but Nate has his hands full with another patient. So Tori tells Justin's nurse to prep him for surgery - she has to do the operation on her brother. However, at the last minute, a new surgeon appears. What's more, Tori knows him. He recognises her too, calling Tori "Tess". The new surgeon is Riley Hawkins (Ryan O'Kane) - Tori's ex-boyfriend! "It's a shocking moment for Tori because she hasn't seen Riley for seven years," Penny, 33, says. Riley is taken aback to learn Tori & her family were in witness protection, & that's why she left abruptly. Nate soon finds out Tori & the new doc were once lovers. "He's fairly jealous she's got history with another doctor," Penny says. "But Nate broke up with her - he wants to have his cake & eat it too."
- Also this week. There are more surprises in store when Heath, Bianca & baby Harley show up in the Bay. But what's their secret?
