View Full Version : EastEnders Spoilers 23rd - 27th Jan 2017
Over on EastEnders, tensions flare up over the market's future when Martin Fowler receives some worrying news.
When rumours spread like wildfire that the market is being moved, Martin (James Bye) is furious and leads the other stall holders as they all confront Carmel Kazemi.
Under pressure, Carmel (Bonnie Langford) confirms that the proposal is in the very early planning stages – leading to a drastic decision from Martin as he immediately vows to go on strike.
Poor Martin finds himself standing alone when the other stall holders refuse to back him up, not wanting to lose money by joining him on the strike.
Carmel is also very unimpressed by Martin's actions, causing a huge argument to erupt between the pair.
When Kush (Davood Ghadami) steps in, can he play peacemaker and convince Martin to calm down? We don't envy him, being torn between his best friend and his mum...

EastEnders is planning a shock disaster storyline
Cancel all plans!
EastEnders fans are in for a real treat next week as disaster strikes on Albert Square in unmissable scenes.
Show bosses have confirmed that next week's episodes all centre around a huge storyline, which could see some of Walford's best-known characters caught up in big trouble.
Exact details of the high-stakes storyline are being kept under wraps for the time being, as the EastEnders team are keen for fans to be surprised by what's in store.
Even the usual batch of EastEnders spoilers for next week's episodes, which are due out online at midnight, won't reveal what the stunt is or who's involved.
The exciting news also helps to explain why some Walford events are hitting our screens a little earlier than usual at the moment.
Some viewers were confused last week when Mick Carter appeared to celebrate his birthday a week early.
Phil Mitchell also marks his own birthday in Monday night's episode (January 16) a few days earlier than usual.
With some soap fans seemingly scrutinising episodes for "gaffes" and "errors" at the moment, Mick's birthday scenes sparked some incorrect reports online that EastEnders had made a continuity mistake.
In fact, it's pretty common that soap episodes aren't necessarily set on the exact day they air - and things will get back on track next week with three episodes based around the disaster.
An EastEnders spokesperson told Digital Spy: "As a continuing drama, it is not uncommon for events to be moved in order to tie in with other storylines.
"Next week sees disaster strike in Walford, and these episodes all take place over one day, so in order for events to be played out in this way, other moments need to be moved slightly for story purposes."
EastEnders fans can see the disaster story begin next Monday (January 23) at 8pm on BBC One.

The stall holders worry when they hear rumours that the market is being moved. Under pressure to provide an explanation, Carmel admits that the proposal is in the very early planning stages.
Martin reacts badly to the news and goes on strike, but the others refuse to follow suit as they don't want to lose money. Martin's behaviour leads to an argument with Stacey and he also clashes with Carmel.
Later, as the residents carry on with their day, disaster strikes on Albert Square...
Meanwhile, Emerald asks Vincent to speak to Kim about her recent treatment of Denise. When Kim overhears, she throws Emerald out. Emerald isn't going far, though, as she moves in with Denise instead.
Elsewhere, Billy tries to get Jay to open up about his current living arrangements and his love life. Jay isn't sure that he can move on from what happened with Star, but Billy thinks otherwise.
Also today, Sylvie, Tina and Shirley go on a day out together, while Keegan continues to irritate Bex and Louise.
Tuesday

EastEnders is lining up a terrifying bus accident in next week's unmissable episodes, it has been revealed.
Show bosses previously announced that next week's visits to Walford would all centre around a "shock incident" – which is set to rock Albert Square and place some of our favourite characters in deep trouble.
Exact details of the dramatic storyline are being kept under wraps, but more information on the shock plot has now come to light after an aerial shot showing chaos in Walford has appeared online.
The image appears to show a crashed bus near the market place, with emergency services in attendance.

An EastEnders spokesperson said to Digital Spy: "We know how much our audience hate to have any future storylines spoilt so we will not comment on speculative stories."
An insider added: "Next week sees disaster strike in Albert Square. It's going to be an unmissable week."
The official spoilers for next week have so far been very vague to preserve the secrecy around the storyline, but yesterday, we revealed which characters would appear in the first few episodes thanks to the cast list on the official EastEnders website.
EastEnders fans can see the disaster story begin to unfold from next Monday (January 23) at 8pm on BBC One.

EastEnders bosses have been forced to defend themselves due to a dramatic episode bearing similarities with devastating real-life events.
In December, a truck was deliberately driven into a Christmas market in Breitscheidplatz, Berlin leaving 12 people dead and 56 more injured while a similar terror attack occurred in Nice back in July killing 86 and injuring 434.
EastEnders fans were left open-mouthed on Monday night (23 January) when a shock storyline saw a bus driver crash into the Bridge Street market after appearing to have a heart attack behind the wheel leaving the fate of several characters in the balance.
Bosses have since ensured viewers, however, that the storyline wasn't influenced by the Berlin terror attacks.
In a statement, they said: “EastEnders is a fictional drama and the crash in tonight's episode was not based on any real-life event. We are always mindful of the content within our episodes.”
was it bus driver in the body bag so only death
