EastEnders has offered a first look at newcomer Emerald Fox, who'll be arriving in Walford in upcoming scenes.
Former Casualty actress Doña Croll has been cast in the role as Denise and Kim's mum Ada, who is now going by the name of Emerald.
Emerald will only be appearing in a handful of episodes rather than joining as a regular, and her arrival couldn't be timed more conveniently as Denise is due to give birth this week.
Show bosses aren't giving too much away about her storylines just yet, but Emerald already knows all about the baby thanks to Kim.

However, how much she knows about Denise's adoption plans - and whether or not she will find out who the father is - remains to be seen.
Either way, there is one person who is in Emerald's good books and that is Patrick Trueman.
The new pictures show the pair involved in a tense discussion, but Patrick's support of Denise strikes a chord with Emerald - who is impressed with his sensitive approach to her daughter's situation.
EastEnders will air Emerald's first scenes next week on BBC One.
