Hollyoaks is lining up an explosive twist for the Donovan family as Adam Donovan's fiancée Darcy turns up in the village.

Aisling Jarrett-Gavin has been cast in the role of Darcy, who is currently presumed dead after vanishing during a boat trip with Adam.

Upcoming scenes will see the mystery surrounding Darcy's disappearance thicken when Adam discovers that his brother Liam is harbouring a huge secret about her.

But Liam is far from the only Donovan with something to hide, as we also know that Jesse had an unhealthy infatuation with her, while it has been suggested that Grace and Tracey could be hiding something as well.

Hollyoaks schemer Darcy Wilde is forced to face the music tonight (December 8) now that her secret is out.

Darcy (Aisling Jarrett-Gavin) was rumbled last night as Maxine Minniver finally figured out that Glenn is Toby's real father – partly thanks to a sneaky tip-off from private investigator Jordan.

Maxine didn't waste much time before sharing her suspicions with her ex-boyfriend Adam Donovan, leaving him stunned as he realised just how badly Darcy has betrayed him.

These brand new pictures from Friday's E4 first look episode now show the moment that Adam takes his revenge during the Donovan family's Christmas meal.

Taking control of the situation, Glenn then resorts to his old tricks by blackmailing Darcy to leave without Toby.

Sadly for anyone hoping to see the back of Darcy, a village favourite soon takes pity on her, deciding to help her out during her moment of need.
