EastEnders kicks off 2017 with an unmissable episode tonight (January 1) as Ronnie Mitchell and Jack Branning head down the aisle.

The happy couple have been excitedly planning their wedding for a few weeks now, but with both Mitchell sisters set to bow out, it's sure to be a day that Walford will remember for all the wrong reasons.

As Ronnie (Samantha Womack) and Jack (Scott Maslen) prepare to tie the knot this evening, Roxy continues to cause trouble for them following weeks of bad behaviour.

Roxy's antics place Ronnie in a difficult situation, but what will this mean for the wedding? Do Ronnie and Jack get the day they've been hoping for, or will their dream ceremony turn into a nightmare?

And will the Mitchell sisters' departure really be the fatal ending everyone has been expecting?

I'd stay off the internet altogether if I was you. I usually watch the soaps later in the evening and I've lost count of the number of big moments that have been spoiled for me even when trying to be careful.
