Is this Robert/Aaron/Rebecca ****e still not over with? Its so obvious what the writers are doing. Rebecca is just being used to show "Robron" fans that Robert won't give into temptation and prove that he is a so called changed man. Hopefully the upcoming Ross/Rebecca thing is going somewhere, she will be much better away from those two.

Emmerdale's Chrissie White has a harsh warning for Aaron Dingle in the New Year, as he gets paranoid over his relationship with Robert Sugden once again.

There's more trouble ahead for Robron in the week of Aaron's birthday in January, which should be a happy occasion for the popular couple.

Chas is the first to become suspicious when she asks Robert (Ryan Hawley) about his plans for Aaron's birthday and gets a very bland response.

Robert's apparent disinterest becomes even more clear when he sneaks out for work rather than celebrating with Aaron (Danny Miller). In fact, Robert even tells Aaron that he's meeting Rebecca rather than going out for a meal. Unforgivable!

Things get even worse when Aaron's teenage sister Liv Flaherty witnesses Robert and Rebecca cuddling and shows Chas the footage after recording it.

By the time Chas reports back to Aaron, she's already confronted Rebecca and urged her to stay away from Robert. But that doesn't stop Aaron from cornering Rebecca too, even though he's terrified over what her answer might be.

And of course, gobby Chrissie can't resist having her say - warning Aaron that Robert is bound to cheat on him just like he did to her.

So, is this really the worst nightmare for all Robron fans, or could there be more to it? We can't give all the details away, but things do get slightly better - phew.

It turns out that Robert has been secretly planning a romantic surprise for Aaron after all, and he's delighted when he finally gets his chance to present it.

Robert also assures Aaron that he's with him because he loves him, but will the day go well for them both?

Either way, it seems that Chas still has her doubts as she's suspicious over her son's motives when he makes plans for a weekend away with Robert.

Could he be overcompensating for the recent troubles in their relationship? Nobody ever said the road to the Robron wedding would be easy...

Monday

Kerry convinces Belle to leave her unsupervised with Kyle, wanting some quality time with him, but Cain is furious when he finds out and puts a stop to it.

When Charity gets involved in the row, she spikes Kerry's drink and encourages her to do some damage to Cain's caravan as payback. Kerry agrees it's a good idea and heads off to do just that, unaware that an unwell Zak might be sleeping inside.

Meanwhile, Kasim has had enough of Finn, but after some pressure from Emma, he tries to soften the blow by lying that he's getting back with his ex.

Elsewhere, Chas's attempts to kiss Paddy lead to her accidentally hitting him.

Also today, Chrissie and Rebecca are finally getting along, while Lawrence worries when he looks over his witness summons for Lachlan's trial.


Tuesday

Lisa is worried when she spots that the caravan is on fire, knowing that Zak could be inside. At the same time, Charity asks Kerry whether she made sure Zak wasn't in the caravan before she struck.

When Cain finds Lisa about to enter the caravan herself and wade through flames, can he stop her? And is Zak really trapped inside?

Meanwhile, when Paddy watches Ross chat Rebecca up, he uses the same line on Chas during their date. His efforts to emulate Ross don't go well and things get even worse when Chas's top catches fire.

Elsewhere, Finn blames Emma for him being dumped by Kasim and continues to text him.

Also today, Chas is worried when Robert doesn't seem interested in Aaron's upcoming birthday.

Finally, Pierce is looking into engagement rings.


Wednesday

Pierce panics when Rhona's reaction to his proposal is to laugh and reject him, insisting that it's too soon. Pierce pretends he's fine with it, but the situation becomes even more awkward when Paddy congratulates them – not realising the proposal was actually rejected.

Later, once they're back at home, Rhona is not in the mood but Pierce won't take no for an answer.

Meanwhile, with Cain suspicious over the cause of the fire, Kerry confesses to Zak that it was her. With everyone currently believing that Zak left the hob on, will he cover for her or not? Later, Zak is also crushed by something Lisa tells him.

Elsewhere, Aaron gets paranoid and worried over the amount of time Robert is spending with Rebecca.

Also today, Chas gets Rhona's blessing to reunite with Paddy.

Finally, Pearl accuses Liv of stealing her money.


Thursday

Hour-long episode

Kerry's health takes a turn for the worse while she's out for a walk with Kyle and she ends up passing out. When Kyle runs back to the cafe to get help, Zak and Cain both assume that Kerry must have fallen over while drunk. This leads to Zak finally telling Cain that she was the one who set fire to the caravan.

By the time Kerry is found by Dan, she's on the verge of hypothermia. Could this unfortunate incident ultimately bring Kerry and Dan closer together again?

Kerry Wyatt's health takes a turn for the worse while she's out with Kyle in Emmerdale.

Meanwhile, while playing a prank on Pearl, Liv sees Robert and Rebecca cuddling and shows Chas the footage. Chas tells Aaron that she's already warned Rebecca off Robert, but Aaron also wants to confront her.

Later, Chrissie warns Aaron that Robert will only cheat on him just like he did to her, but it turns out that Robert has actually been planning a birthday surprise for Aaron all along. Will it go well?

Elsewhere, Chrissie is upset and sympathetic when she finds out that Lachlan has been beaten up at the Young Offenders Institution, but is the situation as it seems or is she being hoodwinked?

Also today, Rhona worries about what happened last night with Pierce.

Finally, Megan has to change her party plans because Pollard has double booked.


Friday

Cain bans Kerry from seeing Kyle after the events of last week. Lisa urges Moira to step in and make him reconsider, while Dan tries to defend Kerry too.

When Dan continues to fight Kerry's corner at the garage, Cain loses patience and punches him. But is trouble brewing when Kyle witnesses it?

Meanwhile, Cain tells Moira that he wants her back, but how will she react?

Elsewhere, Megan accidentally slams into the back of another car while taking Eliza to physio with Jai.

Also today, Chrissie's bad mood over Lachlan's situation leaves Cain brooding.

Finally, Chas is suspicious of Aaron's motives over his weekend away with Robert.

Meanwhile, these brand new Emmerdale pictures show the full horror in store as Kerry Wyatt commits arson next week.

Kerry (Laura Norton) puts a dangerous revenge plan into action when Cain Dingle starts to block her access to her grandson Kyle, leaving her furious.

After a little encouragement from a mischievous Charity, Kerry decides she can't take this lying down and sets fire to Cain's caravan to teach him a lesson.

A drunken Kerry is convinced that the caravan is empty, but it soon becomes terrifyingly clear that this might not necessarily be the case.

When Lisa (Jane Cox) spots the blaze, she realises that Zak could be inside and takes the bold step of trying to fight the flames herself.

Cain arrives on the scene just as Lisa is opening the caravan door to a wall of flames, putting herself in danger.

Can Cain stop Lisa from risking her own safety? And where is Zak?
