Coronation Street's Adam Barlow stirs up huge trouble in the New Year when he boldly threatens to claim back Underworld from the Connors.
Adam (Samuel Robertson) is struck with a cunning plan when Peter fills him in on how he once owned 50% of the factory, but gave the share back to Carla as a gesture of goodwill.
What's more, Adam also hasn't forgotten how he once had a share of his own in the factory - and he reckons it might be time to take it back. That won't go down well...
Fed up with being penniless, Adam confronts Johnny (Richard Hawley) at the factory and claims that he was tricked into signing over his share by Paul and Liam Connor when he was "just a kid".
Even Peter gets in on the act, admitting that he regrets giving up his stake in the business too.
After cheekily giving Johnny a history lesson of how the factory was built up by his late dad Mike, cocky Adam vows to speak to his solicitor and suggests the Connors should consider an out-of-court settlement.
Unsurprisingly, none of this goes down well with Aidan when he finds out. Retaliating with violence (again!), Aidan shoves Adam up against a wall and promises to do everything within his power to stop him getting his hands on the factory.
Sound like the end of the matter? Not likely, as the police later arrive on the cobbles to tell Aidan they've had a complaint about his threatening behaviour towards Adam.
Looks like this new feud could run and run...

I do like the idea of Peter trying to get his share of the factory back, but not if it's just an excuse for the contrived and boring Adam/Aidan feud. :thumbsdow
Coronation Street's Todd Grimshaw faces a very unexpected new rival for Billy Mayhew's attention in the New Year.
The couple's relationship seems to be stronger than ever at the moment, but there could still be a few hurdles ahead as Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) becomes obsessed with helping newcomer Shona Ramsey.
Shona was first introduced to our screens last week when she met David Platt on a night out and sneakily stole his wallet.
She'll also be crossing paths with another of the Street's residents this weekend, when Billy attends the Christmas Day church service and finds her drinking wine in the vestry.
Billy takes pity on Shona when he hears that she's homeless after splitting from her ex-boyfriend Nathan. Risking the wrath of Todd, he brings her straight back to the Grimshaw house so that she has somewhere to stay.
Todd is just about able to put up with having Shona around (it is Christmas, after all), but his mood changes in the New Year when he finds David's missing wallet in her possession and kicks her out.

Although disappointed that Shona stole from David, caring Billy tries his best to get her set up with somewhere new to stay. When all the nearby hostels are full, he even loyally spends the entire night in a bus shelter with her so that she doesn't come to any harm.
Billy's fierce determination to help Shona leaves Todd with no choice but to invite her back to the Grimshaw house again (through gritted teeth). But Billy doesn't stop there, as next on his list is securing her a job.
Billy introduces Shona to Roy Cropper (David Neilson), explaining that she'd be interested in working at the cafe since there's a job currently on offer.
Not long afterwards, Todd calls at Roy's Rolls to ask about the exact same position and is livid to find Roy already showing Shona the ropes.
Can Todd forgive Billy for putting Shona before him yet again?

With the New Year celebrations in full swing, Phelan tells Eileen that he's going to head home as he's still not feeling well. When Phelan finds Jack wandering the street alone, Jack explains that Anna's had an accident.
Phelan breaks down the door at Number 13 and goes to Anna's aid. Anna regains consciousness but is horrified to find Phelan looming over her. Kevin arrives home and is shocked to find Phelan there, but what will his reaction be?
Meanwhile, Jenny is in her element as she swans about Johnny's flat playing hostess to his friends. Eva watches her jealously. Having finally joined the party, Johnny makes an announcement that shocks his guests to the core.
Elsewhere, Peter admits that he is in a relationship, but begs Simon not to tell anyone just yet as he needs to wait till the time is right to break the news. Simon is unimpressed with Peter's web of lies, but will he agree to keep his secret?
Also today, while watching the fireworks from the Rovers back yard, Mary makes Norris promise that he'll visit her in South Africa. Unable to face an emotional goodbye, Norris hugs Mary and heads home. As her friends gather round Mary and Jude's taxi singing 'We'll Meet Again', Mary is overcome. Can Mary really leave Weatherfield for good?
Finally, Steph is furious to find Andy about to do a runner, while Shona returns to the Grimshaw house looking for a place to stay.
Monday (1)
Kevin confides in Anna that Sophie's medical bill was much higher than expected and he's had to dip into the garage tax account. Soon afterwards in The Rovers, Phelan steals Kevin's phone and contacts the pick-up truck suppliers. Masquerading as Kevin, Phelan arranges to have the new truck delivered to a different address.
Handing Kevin's phone to Andy, Phelan tells him that his next job is to take delivery of Kevin's new truck and steal it. Will Andy stand up to Phelan or do as he is told?
Meanwhile, Maria tells Aidan how hurt she is over his latest behaviour. Aidan apologises, but can he resist temptation?
Elsewhere, Todd confronts Shona over the stolen wallet and tells Billy that she's a common thief. Despite this, Billy remains sympathetic and insists he wants to help her. Having taken Shona to the local hostel, Billy does his best to secure her a bed for the night. But is it a case of old habits die hard for Shona?
Also, Jenny tries to talk Johnny out of his plans to retire. When Adam finds out that Peter once owned 50% of Underworld but gave it back in return for nothing, he forms a plan.
Finally, Roy feels terrible when he discovers from Cathy that Alex now lives in a separate flat as there isn't room at Yasmeen's. As Roy shows potential buyer Eric round the café, Brian forms a plan to scupper the sale and enlists the help of Sally.
Monday (2)
Toyah warns Eva to watch her back with Maria, as she's got form for stealing other people's boyfriends. Soon afterwards, Aidan locks horns with Jenny in the factory. Once alone, Johnny tells Aidan about Adam's threat to take the business off them, before warning Aidan to stop messing with other women behind Eva's back. Neither of them sees Jenny enter.
Later, Aidan shoves Adam up against a wall, telling him that he'll do everything within his power to stop him getting his hands on the factory.
In The Rovers, Aidan confides in Alya about Adam and Peter's plans to sue them. Jenny confronts Johnny, demanding to know if Aidan's having an affair. Johnny confirms that he is, but refuses to reveal who with. Will Jenny put two and two together and get five?
Meanwhile, in the café, David tells Sarah how Shona returned his wallet and even replaced his cash. Having overheard their exchange, Billy sets off on a mission. Billy tracks Shona down to the bar in town and cajoles her into coming home with him. What will Todd say about Billy's new friend?
Elsewhere, when Roy quizzes Sally about her knowledge of Eric, it becomes clear she knows nothing about him. Is Brian's plan about to unravel?
Also, Phelan calls in the Bistro. Having shown Andy one of Steph's bracelets, he explains that he has keys to the builder's yard flat and that unless he plays ball, anything could happen to Steph. Will Andy succumb to Phelan's demands?
Wednesday
Johnny helps an upbeat Jenny move her things into his flat. At the same time, Adam confides in Peter that Aidan tried to threaten him. When Aidan invites Alya round to the flat to talk business, Jenny assumes they're arranging a lovers' tryst. Playing the concerned friend, she tells Eva that Aidan is having an affair with Alya and she'll find them at the flat now.
Eva barges into the flat all guns blazing, but she's mortified to find a perfectly innocent business meeting taking place. Aidan tears a strip off Jenny for trying to split up him and Eva, but they're interrupted by a visit from the police, telling Aidan they've had a complaint about his threatening behaviour towards Adam Barlow. Johnny despairs.
Furious Johnny delivers both Aidan and Jenny a devastating blow each, but what?
Meanwhile, at Amy's suggestion, Steve and Liz plan a baby shower for Michelle. Having run the idea by Simon, Eva decides to organise a surprise party for Leanne too. As the Barlows gather for Daniel's birthday dinner at Number 1, Peter receives a text from his girlfriend. Making excuses, Pete heads out leaving Simon unimpressed. As Peter meets his lover secretly, they kiss passionately. Will Simon cover for him?
Elsewhere, when Cathy assures Roy she'd rather have him in her life as a friend than lose him altogether, can she cause Roy to have second thoughts about moving?
Also today, a bedraggled Billy explains to Todd how he spent the night in a bus shelter with Shona as all the hostels were full, but will it be enough to coax the Grimshaws into letting Shona stay?
Finally, Steph's friend Peggy calls in the Bistro and is instantly smitten with Robert.
Friday (1)
Jenny is upset after being told to move out, but Gemma is sceptical, assuming Jenny will only miss Johnny's money. Jenny tries to apologise to Johnny, claiming she was only looking out for Eva, but he's disbelieving. In a bid to make amends with Jenny, Gemma phones Johnny, masquerading as a potential client and arranging to meet him in the Bistro.
Later, Aidan confronts Johnny about his retirement u-turn and as a row escalates, Aidan tells him he's going to set up in competition. Apologising to Jenny, Gemma explains how she's lured Johnny to the Bistro so they can kiss and make up. But when Jenny turns up, Johnny is furious to realise he's been duped. As Jenny begs for a second chance, he sacks her on the spot. Is it over for Jenny and Johnny?
Meanwhile, Liz is annoyed to discover that Toyah is arranging a baby shower for Leanne on the same day she's planning to hold Michelle's one. When Eva overhears Toyah discussing the baby shower with Leanne, she's annoyed to realise Toyah is taking all the credit and quickly points out it was her idea.
Having found out from Liz that she was supposed to do a trial shift, Toyah rows with Eva for failing to pass on the message. Leanne is furious with the pair of them as they lock horns in spectacular fashion.
Elsewhere, pointing out they're both single, Steph talks a reluctant Robert into meeting her friend Peggy for a date. As Robert and Michelle enjoy a cosy chat in the Bistro, Steph reminds him of his date with Peggy. Clearly not keen, Robert sets off and Michelle is bemused.
Also, when Billy tells Shona he's found her a job at the café, she panics as she's bound to come face to face with David.
Finally, keen to have a grandchild, Yasmeen gives Rana some ovulation kits so she can maximise her chances and Rana feels terrible. But when her contraception pills fall out of her bag, is the game up for Rana?
Friday (2)
As Peter grabs the opportunity for a quick romp with his mystery lady, Simon is forced to cover for him yet again. With Leanne on his back, Simon is upset at having to lie to her.
Having witnessed this, Eva follows Simon and asks him to confide in her. Simon reveals he's been forced to lie for Peter, but as he reveals what Peter's been up to and with who, how will Eva react?
Meanwhile, Peggy arrives for her date with Robert but it's clear his heart isn't in it. Admitting that he's in love with someone else, Robert calls a halt to the date. As a disappointed Peggy explains to Steph that Robert is in love with another woman, Michelle overhears. But who is Robert's mystery love?
Elsewhere, Sally, Izzy, Fiz and Aidan watch the latest Connor family events in amazement. What does this mean for Jenny's future? And how will Aidan react to Johnny's decision?
Also, Billy introduces Shona to Roy, explaining that she's interested in the job at the café. At Eileen's suggestion, Todd also calls in Roy's Rolls looking for work, but he's put out to find Roy showing Shona the ropes. How will Todd react to Billy putting Shona first for a second time?
Finally, when Rana finally admits to Zeedan that she's not ready to start a family, how will Zeedan react?

You know how many characters started out like shona but changed because people gave them a chance? Kylie, becky, Fiz and Gemma to name a few. Todd just needs to suck it up and be proud of billy for his efforts. Even if she doesn't change billy shouldn't havr to apologis for trying to help. How many chances has todd got from his family and friends? Heaps.
why does todd need a job, is he not working what is left of jason's business with new step daddy to be phelan, as in office doing accounts

Shona said she lost her child, does she mean to social services or death?
I thought at the time she meant her child had died, but it being taken away by social services would equally fit.
Over on Coronation Street, Maria Connor comes face-to-face with Aidan for the first time since she was sent back to jail.
Maria (Samia Longchambon) was recently sentenced to a whole year behind bars as punishment for her sham marriage to Pablo - and she also faced an added disappointment when Aidan failed to support her in court like he'd promised.
Aidan was full of big plans for the future just before Christmas as he vowed to dump Eva Price in favour of Maria, but he bottled it at the last minute and failed to go through with it.
Tomorrow night's Corrie double bill sees Aidan finally pluck up the courage to visit Maria in prison, with the guilt written all over his face after he let her down when she needed him the most.
Maria has now spent a week in prison and has had plenty of time to ponder over how Aidan has treated her, so she relishes the opportunity to give him some home truths.
Could this finally be the end of Aidan and Maria, or could the temptation to reunite their relationship prove too strong once again?
